Review Bertucci's Italian Restaurant - Braintree

We had a Sunday lunch. There were not many people, but the service was pretty slow. Maybe for Sunday such tempo is ok, but I had to rush to work after and was nervous that I will be late. Food was ok, but overpriced for the quality. I have a feeling it is a frozen food that they warm up. However, the athmosphere is nice - definitely a good place to come with family and children. I do keep coming back.

We went for theirs 80s menu and the place was packed with a wait list. Was nice to see it busy again. It's usually quiet whenever we went. Slight wait for a table and was seated at a booth by a very busy but pleasant manager. She did a great job amongst the chaos. Kudos to the management staff that was working hard all around with one doing double duty as a busser. Most of the servers and food runners were smiling even though it's probably been quite some time since they had a super busy restaurant. The food was also on point except the salad. We got the Antipasto Salad with Red Wine Vinaigrette, Pepperoni Pizza also Rigatoni, Chicken and Broccoli. Antipasto Salad was way over dressed and arrived so wet that eating it wasn't enjoyable (Order salad with dressing on the side in the future). We just picked out all the non lettuce items and ate that instead. The Pepperoni pizza was cook to almost perfection (the previous week it was quite under done) so we were super excited to eat it. The Rigatoni, Chicken and Broccoli was delicious also and the sauce was cook just right (had it at times were it was watery and bland) and with enough sauce to cover ingredients completely. Broccoli and the pasta was a bit past al dente but still ok. We were full but saw the cannolis going by and we had to get one to try. It is a huge chocolate chip cannoli with chocolate drizzle and cocoa dusting. I would been happy with a plain cannoli since all the add ons were a bit sweet for me. Our server was pleasant but only checked in on us twice (others brought our food) but it was a busy dining room. Thank goodness our main dishes were cooked well. This experience will get me back to dining in there more frequently again since it helped me move past the previous bad visits. We mainly do takeout. Thursday night was the dream team working and it was a great experience.

Delicious food, a great place for drink something and have a good talk. The calzone has only three toppings so that is really confuse from the menu, if you choose more than 3 you will be charge for it, thanks to God our waitress explained us. The pizza includes all the ingredients mentioned.

Worst wings ever. While the pizza wasnt bad the wings were horrible little dried up things. And not one drummy. I hate feeling like I got way less than my moneys worth. Im shocked that something this bad was sent out of the kitchen. If it wasnt take out amd so late If take them back and ask for my money back.

Ahhh Bertucci’s, an average Italian family restaurant that everyone goes to. Today my experienced sucked. There was barely any workers so waited some time before I was able to be sat down. I ordered 4 entree and the waitress only came put with 3 and she said “enjoy!” I quickly stopped her and asked we have a fourth one the abruzzi and she goes “you wanted the abruzzi too?”. Well yes…. of course I ordered 4 entree’s its not my fault you decided to not write down your orders. After our food came it was terrible. It was literally eating food from the frozen boxes and there was barely enough sauce to cover the pasta AND it was SO TASTELESS. The ONLY good thing was the bread IF ONLY IT WAS WARMER. I think I had enough of Bertucci 🤮 this place is so outdated anyways.

If you order a meal you expect it to be hot or at least fully cooked through. Placed a family order for take out - well in advance. The entire order was ready at the appointed time… they informed me they forgot the side of meatballs. They then informed me it would be another 10 min - 10 min went by and I was approached again to be told it was just put into the oven. All the while the entire order has gone cold, all for $5.99 meatballs. Part of paying the premium of ordering out is making sure your orders are good to go at the appropriate time. Not having 99% of your order be ruined due to the 1%. Do better. The food was sub par at best. Haven’t been to a bertucci’s in years…. Will be years again.

My second visit wasn't as good as the first. I pretty much threw my pizza in the trash. I took it home because the salad filled me up. Oh well, I guess you can't win every time. Also, I was told to wait for seating even though there was no one else in line and there were plenty of clean tables. I sat at the bar and when I left there was still plenty of empty tables. That was seriously suspect!!! Times passes, but very little really changes, ugh!! I won't be breaking my neck to go back.

Bertucci's pizza is fantastic! I've always gone to the Braintree 5 corners place. They never disappoint. Service is really good. Friendly, accommodating & professional. I was given free rolls...how cool is that? It's the best.

I hadn't been here in years and really was looking forward to the Chicken Anna Maria , just love the artichokes . It use to be a go to place 4 - 5 times a month when I closer. It was 7:30 pm on a Monday night , pretty quiet inside , tops 18 people in the entire restaurant/ bar. I ordered a cup of sausage soup and my husband and I shared the Tuscan Chicken wing appetizer, which unfortunately was served on the cool side. Dinner was served , not one item cleared from the table , asked for water .... and it never came after even asking a second time , as I watched our waitress hold a long 4 minute conversation with another waitress. I started to eat my dinner and for a second I thought , this isn't even my dish. The waitress came over and I mentioned I don't think this is my order , especially since there were no artichokes, she went off to get the manager , still nothing cleared off table , when manager came over he was pleasant and asked if the dish had a problem. I said I don't think this is the right dish and mentioned there were no artichokes, he's like oh you want artichokes, yes that is why I ordered this particular dish . He took the dish and brought it to the cook who confirmed that he might of left out the artichokes. ... added 3 pcs and the plate came back. Still no water and by now my husband was finished with his meal. How does a cook and a kitchen manager and even the wait staff serve an incomplete dish ? My dish was small in portion of egg noodles , were dry due to the lack of cream sauce and cool and the 3 tiny pcs of chicken were hard and dry. I will say the soup was good and if the wings were served hot they would of been great ! May or may not go again . $16.99 for a dish that can't even be made correctly makes me crave for the good Ole days when people cared for the customer and proud of what was served out of the kitchen.

First let me start of saying our service was great. Our server Casey(sp) was attentive and friendly. I would give 5 stars if that was all I was reviewing however I'm not. I thought my meal , chicken picatta ,tasted burnt but it didn't appear to be. Well I took home the leftovers and realize the underside of all the chicken was burnt black! There is no way the kitchen didn't notice this as they plated it. I can't blame our server for bringing me the food as the burnt chicken was plated facing down and all appeared fine. I wish I could post the picture I took. I just went to eat the leftovers and couldn't . Had the kitchen just said there was a problem and delayed my meal that would have been fine. Instead they tried and succeeded in passing off burnt food. I work hard for my money and find this unacceptable. Very disappointed!!

Been going there for many years last night was the first time we didn't can for it . While the food was very good the service was awful. We were made to feel like we should hurry up and eat and get out . Probably 10 others in whole place .Wife was taking part of her meal home waitress said ok she picked up my wife's plate then picked up my plate and put it on top of my wife's going home food.

The staff there was very friendly especially to my toddler who just wanted to walk around. The manager was also very attentive especially when I was talking about food allergies. Another waiter was also very kind to me I didn't have to clean up after my son as he would do it. Great staff all around.

Every time I come to Bertucci's Braintree I have less than satisfactory service. The server takes eons to take our order, get our food etc. & the food is always disappointing. I do not recommend going here for a meal. Maybe if you just want pizza or take out. I keep thinking " oh it was just that one time" and try again and am just as disappointed as the last time.

I went there last Saturday before the Patriots game with my wife and son. We are regulars at this location. The service was bad. The timing of the delivery of the salads, rolls, and meals was uncoordinated. One and half meals were delivered before the rest of the meal came out 15 minutes later. Maybe too many resources dedicated to the game day take, the wait person seemed they couldn't wait to get out of there and the manager could care less about our complaint. We are regulars, we are not looking for anything free, we just want to be treated right.

The Shrimp Scampi was excellent, the little bit of red pepper flakes made the dish.
