Review Buffalo Wild Wings - Braintree

Not sure what happened post pandemic, this location seems to no longer attract any crowds, even on weekends. It’s a shame since they are located on the premises of a really busy shopping mall. Severely understaffed and the quality of food keeps varying with every visit. The service was good though.

My wife and I went to the South Shore Plaza location tonight for a quick meal. We arrived around 8:45pm and were told there was a wait for tables but we could sit at the bar right away (only about 25% of tables were occupied but the hostess mentioned they were understaffed which was understandable). We sat at the bar and ordered an appetizer and our entrees within 5 minutes of sitting down. While we were waiting for our food my wife went to the bathroom where the stall she was in was completely out of toilet paper (on both sides of the dispenser) so she had to ask me to come and provide her with toilet paper. By 9:30 we still hadn’t received any our appetizers or any food so we asked the bartender whether it was possible to cancel our food as we were very hungry and would prefer to just leave and grab fast food at that point. She again mentioned they were short staffed but said she would go check on the food (at this point she hadn’t been back to check on food in the kitchen in probably 20 minutes). The bartender finally returned about 5 minutes later with all of our food at once (appetizer and entrees). We got the appetizer platter and it was completely cold – it had clearly been ready and sitting out for at least 15 minutes. Additionally, the plates at the bar next to us from previous customers weren’t bussed for at least 45 minutes (the people left as we arrived and were sitting down and were bussed while we were eating). We rarely complain about restaurant experiences and understand the short staff but there should have been someone else who was able to run the food out rather than having it sit until it was cold and then be delivered with our entrees. The entire time members of the kitchen staff would periodically come in and out of the kitchen in a calm and relaxed manner. When we asked if we could cancel the food we were met with resistance from the bartender to go check on the food and we’re just told “they were working on it” despite her not having gone to check recently. Despite short staff I think a bit more timeliness and checking in on food more than every 20 minutes would have gone a really long way in appeasing us – as we would’ve received our food about 15 minutes earlier and it wouldn’t have been cold. Our quick bite to eat turned into a horrible experience and our $50+ bill for two was a complete waste of money.

would do zero stars if i could. i dont know if the guy i had was new or what but out of 4 people in my group we all ate dinner at separate times. they messed up my ONION RINGS 5 times… and forgot.. my friends chicken was doused in seasoning. He shouldve just ordered the seasoning itself. he dropped off 4 different food items that were not ordered by us. After literally writing it down?? Unbelievable service. Ive gotten better service at mcdonalds. Not even busy and they “cant keep up”. $92 bill, and it wasnt even worth it. No napkins, utensils, straws. This place should be closed until it has a working staff. The waiter, Matthew, clearly cant handle too much at once. He would literally just come over and drop off menu items and walk away…half of them werent ours.

Sorry to be this person, but it has to be said. I’m not sure where to even start here, but this was not only terrible service, but a bizarre transaction. I came in to order a take out order of 15 wings. It was a Tuesday, so I asked if the BOGO deal was still happening. They said yes. The person taking my order then said they could not do it because I ordered Bonless and not Bone In. So I looked it up, and saw that was wrong. So another person canceled that order, and then placed a new order of 15 boneless wings, with a bogo, for a total of 30 wings. Pretty simple, no? Clearly not for this place. So I came back 15min later to pick up the food, and they said I would get a refund for the first order because I was charged twice. The kid working asked for me to leave my phone number and last four of my credit card so the refund will be processed. He then said they will call me. Excuse me?! What?! Who says they will refund someone and then calls them. I said I wanted it done now. He said the manager was busy. I said, that’s fine, I will wait. How do I know someone may just “forget” to do it. Who doesn’t process at refund at point of purchase in front of the customer. To complicate this already ridiculous experience, when I asked the kid working for a couple sides of ranch, he responded that he could not provide them because he did not put the order in the computer. It’s worth what, $0.79, and it doesn’t already come with the wings? I had no problem paying for it, but to say he won’t even give them to me is insane. Especially after all of the other nonsense. Finally, I get home to find out my order was wrong anyway. Not the flavors I asked for, and uneven distribution. I asked for it mixed, not separate. Oh, and did I mention they still left out the additional 15 wings I was originally charged for. Never thought ordering wings would be this complicated. UPDATE!! Sorry to do this again, but here we go. Somehow gave this place a second try despite the events of my last visit. I’m not sure what is so difficult here, but following instructions is not a part of this restaurant’s philosophy. Ordered the same thing as last time. 15 boneless wings with a bogo. Unlike last time, it was honored this time. However, I literally asked for the flavors to be mixed together. Did not receive that. They were separate again. Food was also cold. Not to also mention, fries were rock hard!!! Literally like chips. Oh, and one side of ranch. For 30 wings?? Seriously? What is the problem here???

Very odd experience from the beginning. Got told by hostess it would be a five minute wait, despite the entire place being open. Waiter came by 30 seconds later and asked why we were standing at the front. Sat down and waited 20 minutes before we even got a drink order taken. Placed full order at once after waiter finally came, and then waited 40 minutes for our food. Saw many other tables get food who had ordered or even been sat after us. We unnecessarily had 10 ranches between the two of us; what a waste! Asked the waiter about it and he said he didn't even remember bringing all of it over, we certainly didn't ask for extra ranch or anything. They also have the weirdest "contactless pay" option. Would recommend other locations if you have the choice. The three stars are for the waiter, Marvin, who saved the whole experience. He was very cool and seemed to be holding the entire establishment together while his coworkers walked around aimlessly.

They were severely short staffed. The tots and the Truly were fine.. 3 stars easy. But for a mall location, it's just irritating how staffing is either poorly managed or employees poorly trained. The young girl at the desk for the take out/uber orders was the face of the place since the manager/host was busy running around in the kitchen, bar, and serving. The bartender was out that day. So, the least the takeaway person could have done was greet the folks coming in, inform/excuse the delay and not just stand there not even saying hello. At least 2 parties walked out after waiting to be greeted by a host/informed of anything re a table. The lack of even a hello would have made me walk out. My young server was also not great with customer service but again, short staffed and no bar tender. Probably just an anomoly that night of poor service.

Absolutely terrible service. Waited for 10 min at the door before even being acknowledged. We go here often and already knew what we wanted. When we were sat at a high top the bartender came over to take our drink order. He dropped the drinks and said be right back and never came back. We waited over 20 minutes while people sat at the bar after us ordered and got food. We waited another 10 minutes hoping we would be acknowledged again but after 30 minutes of waiting we were too hungry and upset to wait any longer. Will NEVER be returning. Worst service ever.

Asian zing, thai curry and mango habanero are highly recommended for spicy wings lover!

Why not hire people who like sports and can make a martini. And oh yeah, maybe give their employees there paystubs so they know what their rate is. The employee should not have to ask management? for his check Alex, Tim, Steve loose the sideburns. Under Cover #Angels remember Tonya

Gave this place multiple chances and each one was terrible, between pick up and dine in. All times I’ve ordered pick up it was either made wrong, not made at all, or I’ve received someone else’s order. And dine in was absurd, there’s an older woman who was just terrible rude and lacked any ounce of customer service. I don’t care how bad you hate the job but when you choose a career that is dealing with the public suck it up and act appropriately. Refuse to give it another try.

I'm very disappointed. We ordered over $200 of food and a scoop of ice cream for dessert (loaded ice cream - 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and 4 cinnamon tortilla chips), however 5 of the spoons came dirty and the bowl was also dirty (dried salsa). The manager came and took $4.99 off. Don't waste time going!!����..NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Went there christmas eve, place was awful Me: Can I order some wings? Bartender: yes Me: we will take 12 parm garlic and 12 hot When you order wings that means I want wings not boneless tenders, I got boneless tenders. I was in a rush with it being christmas eve and didn't have time to send it back. So the order was wrong and tasted awful. And my friends draft beer was flat. The place sucks.

Horrible. Waited 20 minutes for 2 beers because they were clearing the tap line? On. Friday night at a sports bar? Really? Another 40 minute wait for food which was awful. A basic cheeseburger was to spicy to eat as were teriyaki wings. Took 2 bites and told the waitress I couldn't eat them and she said oh that's too bad Did she offer something else or take it off the bill? Hell No. Won't be going back

No napkins or wet naps for my delivery order. Had ranch AND blue cheese on the order and the receipt only got blue cheese. Food was good but the lack of attention to the details that complete the meal is...

Came here the 3rd day it was open. Had some issues but the management was great. Good beer selection and not too pricy. Negatives are way too loud and limited menu. Wings or burgers but they are good
