Penn's Restaurants - Brandon - Photo album

Call to place takeout order w. Credit card...was told I couldn't. I placed my order when I got there. Order was wrong and crust on chicken was real thick w. little chicken. I will not go back! I did ask to talk to manager but told.."SHE WASN'T THERE"
This restaurant just could not get it together. They are always out of everything and they take way too long to prepare their food. I went and got the popcorn shrimp meal and then I was informed that they did not have popcorn shrimp or Mac n cheese which were 2 of the 3 things I really wanted. I cho
I usually don’t give reviews, good or bad, but I can’t let this one go. Ordered 2 grilled fish dinners and one fried. Also fried green tomatoes. Over $50 worth of food. The fried stuff was fine - but the grilled fish was totally gross. It looked wet and burned on the outside but wasn’t cooked at all
The new manager, Monica, reopened this Penn’s and it is excellent. The shrimp po boy was delicious and so was the banana pudding. Also, it is the cleanest restaurant I’ve ever been in!
Had what tasted spoiled and rotten chicken fried to cover the taste. DISGUSTING. Fish was completely black on the underside. Go to Lake Harbour or Government St. Rarely have a good experience at this location. Service tends to be lacking as well.
Penn's food is always great to me. Most of all its the crew that works there. They are kind upon entering and always make sure the customer is happy.
They are terrible with running out of food or never having any cooked. It doesn’t matter what time you go they never have any food to cook. I have been three times in the last few months and it’s always the same excuse. I really like there food but I’d go somewhere else if you want to eat.
Had the shrimp poboy combo plate. It was good for what it was. It's definitely not an authentic poboy but it'll do in a pinch.
