Darbar India - Branford - Photo album

A decent place in the middle of no where. We were on our way back to Manhattan from New Hampshire and wanted to stop somewhere in the middle to have some Indian dinner. And this restaurant came up. We were pretty late but had called the owner and informed him earlier. He was also waiting for us and
We had terrible experience about the food. It had a very poor customer service standard as well. In fact this is a shame. There are missing items and when I called them, they were not eager to listen and slammed the phone to hang up the call. The foods were not fresh and were from the last day lunch
It's hard to pass up stopping at Darbar when I travel through Connecticut. Amazing small business that really knocks it out of the park with all their food! This place is moving soon to where Assaggio was on Montowese Street, I expect them to do well there in a new chapter in their life!

I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was amazing. Everything was so delightful and we got free rice pudding at the end from the owner himself. Great experience and I will definitely be returning!
