Awesome place to stop by for lunch or a snack. 8 inch cookies, local craft beer, homemade sandwiches & soups. This place has something for everyone. Everything we tried tasted great. Beef & Bean Chili Soup, Roadkill Sandwich, and our Giant Oatmeal Raisin cookie. This place is right off the highway so an easy place to eat and get back on the road. FYI, they do accept credit cards and they have 2 parking lots (one for the Deli & one for the general store), & they have a couple tables outside to enjoy your meal.

Very popular place! We drove over from Maine and it was worth it! The pulled pork and mac & cheese were delicious! And the desserts!! We got a great variety and they were all wonderful! Definitely worth the drive.

This is a great spot where  we  stopped for breakfast on our way to NH 's White Mountain region. The sticky pecan bun, banana nut muffin and chocolate croissant were delicious and filling. My family members told me the Fog Lifter coffee was extremely strong and did the job! On our way home from the White Mountain region, we again  stopped here to bring treats home. I was hoping the huge lemon tart, pecan tarts and eclair tasted as good as they looked. They did not disappoint. They were delicious! Sometimes eclairs could have a dry shell or overly sweet chocolate icing. This eclair was perfect, not overly sweet and the shell was not dry. The pecan tart and lemon tart were delectable! Make sure you stop here for their delicious baked items! Considering the size of the treats, I thought they were a good buy.

We stopped here on our way up to Jay Peak and had a tasty lunch! There’s a great sandwich and pastry selection, all fresh-made.

Stopped on a whim hoping for greatness and not simply a tourist post. We were not disappointed. Our sandwiches were very good. I-91 Italian & a Highwayman Ham on mulitgrain bread. Yum! Large & filling. I would add mayo next time but really no complaints. Couldn't pass on dessert (but should have) Éclair & a personal Boston Cream Pie good but way too much on top of the huge sandwiches. Very friendly & patient staff! Kudos to waxed butcher paper wrapping & pressed paper deli boxes!

This is the absolute best country store stop to make when in southern Vermont. We always stop here on the way home from capturing fall foliage across New England. They are just outside Brattleboro on RT 9. You will know you're close because the traffic always slows around this stop. Drive slow and be aware of cars backing out of the lot because the parking is right up against the highway. The deli has two buildings separated by Williams St. You can park in either lot to experience the location. The deli is where you get the fresh food and maple goods. The market is more for wine, frozen items and some additional maple goods. The market has a few tables to sit and eat if you choose to stay. The store tends to get a bit crowded, especially on weekends so be aware if you have COVID concerns. They only recommend mask wearing, they don't require it. If you're crossing the street between the two buildings, be very careful as some locals or other tourists get very frustrated by the traffic in this area and tend to speed through. I have provided some video and photos of the location to give you a better idea. My wife ordered the Maple Pumpkin Bisque and tomato basil mac and cheese. Both were absolutely delicious. I ordered the Italian and also tried the Maple BBQ pulled pork. All top notch food items.
