It was a charming diner. I had a fantastic meatloaf sandwich which came with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was totally worth the calories and carbs. The waitress was kind and offered her opinion on the menu which led me to the delicious meatloaf sandwich.

The best sausage gravy I've ever tasted and I'm from the south. Wide variety on the menu. Excellent waitstaff. Cozy surroundings.

We are local folks, and it is our go-to place. Local food cooked consistently right by local folks. Clean ingredients, massive specials list and excellent prices. Best burgers for many miles around. Old diner setting, casual. The wait staff are friendly and help each other out if it gets busy. We bring house guests to Chelsea Diner and they always love it.

Yummy and fresh! Beef tips were great! Mushroom soup was homemade!!! THEY pick their apples for the apple pie from the trees out back! WELL worth the short drive off the highway!! It's a small place and you will be surprised at what all they have to offer! Andrea was super sweet too!

Delicious ice cream and maple creemees. I ordered the cookie Sunday and substituted the home made maple walnut ice cream and it was superb. Nice folks behind the counter who seemed super enthusiastic about working at an ice cream shop (I would be too). Next to the ice cream stand is a to-go food truck. If you’re hungry and looking for sweets, you’ve stopped at the right place!

We had a magnificent breakfast here recently! This diner encapsulates the very essence of New England hospitality and charm. The employees were all extremely happy, polite and attentive. The food was cooked perfectly and the portions were just right... not too big, not too small. I had eggs Benedict graciously substituted with Smoked Salmon and my wife had a harvest omelet with apple, ham, caramelized onions and VT cheddar. Delicious! The coffee was really good too. So good in fact that we bought a mug to remember the visit. The woman who waited on us was the manager and she is a super sweet person! Any time we are in the area with a hankering for breakfast you will find us there.

The best breakfast spot in Brattleboro area, hands down and has been for over 2 decades. The Cajun skillet crushes. Very good prices. And the diner is a really cool classic vibe.

A gem. Home cooked farm-to-table meals with a diner feel in a brisk but casual and laidback environment. Ever single thing I've tried has been delicious. My least favourite was the turkey gravy, but everything else was so tasty I cannot pick a favourite. I definitely recommend considering the weekly specials. There is a photo on the diner wall, it was taken years ago inside the diner. A great photo that shows the history of the place, you can even see the old menu prices! A $0.60 prime rib anyone?
