Went for the whiskey and food pairing tasting event. We were promptly greeted and seated for the event. Whiskeys and food pairing were nice. Wish i knew you could ask for a non seafood pairing. The server was just reading off the cards so asking for more detailed information wasn't in the cards. There was a live band there so it was hard to hear too. Place was clean, but the event would do better with a bartender that knows the product.

If you're open to allowing bartender to experiment and try new things, order Dealers Choice. JC made us some really good drinks, I picked Gin, and my partner picked Bourbon and I liked both mine and his (I'm not a bourbon gal)
Recommend this place for a friends night out or even single night out, great atmosphere, and good drinks!
The fish and chips was crispy and tasty and the artichoke dip was creamy and delicious. Service wasn't perfect, but it was good and it was a busy night. They had a fiddle player who played a wide variety of music that was a lot of fun and made for a loud but pleasant atmosphere.
Great vibe! I like the band group here - felt they were just great. Ambience -Cozy feel! Best for evening dinner. Kind off vintage feel. Tried wine amazing. Vegan flatbread was good too. Felt full and enjoyed dinning here. Will visit this place again. Service was great.
Last minute plan and boy was it good. Bernie our server was on point. My fish and chips were so delicious. Not overly greasy. Their chips are amazing too! A lot of food. My husband loved the mussels! Tasty. We are going back Thursday with friends for The Chef Table. Check it out on Groupon.
This place is amazing oh my God the food is to die for and they're Cadillac Margarita I want more. The atmosphere is just breathtaking and service is above & beyond.
A gem in Brea city, tasty food and many options of whiskey, if you a whiskey lover this is the place you should go. And they also have live music on a Wednesday night, great ambience and vibe.
$10 all-you-can-drink mimosas served by the bottle! No more waiting for the server to fill up your glass! Excellent brunch menu and an impressive whisky list with unique whisky flights. This place is our legit go-to weekend brunch spot!
Amazing owners, the food is always out of this world. I love the seasonal menus and the ye old spice is literally the best cocktail I have ever had. Jordan is the bartender who made this amazing ye old spice concoction will forever be my fav restaurant in brea!

Recently visited this place for the first time because my wife and I had a Groupon for brunch. To sum up, we had a lovely time. Sunday brunch starts at 9:30am and we got there around 10am. We were worried that we might need a reservation but the place was almost empty when we arrived, so it was fine.
Near the end of our meal tho about an hour later, the place started to get packed. That might also have to do with the fact that that particular Sunday was Daylight Savings so we sprung forward and lost an hour, so that might explain why everyone was an hour late.
For brunch, we had the lamb chilaquiles and the chicken & waffles. Both were outstanding. The chilaquiles have some spice to em so just a heads up.
Our server Justin took good care of us. They have a cool jukebox system in the restaurant. Justin came to our table and said "Give me a song you like." We told him one of our favorites and he queued it right up to play on the jukebox and we were vibing and having a good time while we enjoyed our bottomless mimosas.

Saturday brunch was outstanding! The fish fry was probably one if the best the other is RiRa in Vegas. The Ruben sandwich was perfection! Love the service and atmosphere too! I def plan on going back! Weekly if possible!
Macallan public house is a layback place to spend weekend night with a group of friend. We seat at patio and have a chance to tried one of their Maclean flight(Mac daddy), which include 12, 15, 18years old and one special edition. Get to compare the flavor and richness for each bottle. We ordered another 25 and 30 year to complete the wonderful Macllan tasting experience. The waiter is very knowledgeable and explain to us the difference of each bottle we tried. The cocktails we ordered on the side were awesome as well(whiskey and bourbon base). Didn’t have a chance to do the whiskey pair dinner course. Next time we will be back to give it a shot. Overall this is a wonderful experience in macallans public house.
Awesome staff!! Food and drinks are great, but the best for sure is the service, always goes above and beyond my expectations!! Definitely a place to visit anytime that I'm in the area!!
Their staff are very nice. Food is good. Our server extremely nice just forgot one order but came back and corrected it. Atmosphere is good if you love sports bar. We'll definitely be back and will recommend.
