Got takeout from Thai Specialty and received two items, here is a breakdown:
Pad Thai w/ Tofu: the pad thai here is good but not great. If you’re in the mood for pad Thai in this area it will get the job done, but there are definitely better around.
Chicken Satay: this was my favorite of the two dishes. Flavorful and moist chicken skewers with a peanut dipping sauce. The peanut sauce was rich and delicious and went well with the chicken.
Overall, this is a solid restaurant for Thai, it won’t blow you away but it will get the job done. The service was fast and efficient.
Food is always amazing. My family and I love to go there. Hands down best place to go for Thai, and the service is absolutely wonderful they make you feel welcomed and at home! Always very attentive and the place is always clean. Definitely recommend when your looking for a good place to eat with the family.
I was there on the grand opening day for Thai 7 Bistro.
The Pad Thai was tasty and I really liked it. The spice was not strong, and perfect for me. Other dishes also looked delicious.
The place and the setting is pleasant, and cordial. It’s located close to the spacious parking structure, free parking.
I will definitely go back.

Since it is a small business I was skeptical of getting vegetarian Thai food. The person who answered the phone was understanding and accommodated all requests. We ended up ordering Padthai Noodle and Panang Curry. We ordered everything without any meat or fish sauce. Everything tasted great without being too spicy or oily. Just right amount of basil without overwhelming othe spices. Definitely would ordered again.
Only reason for four stars is the prices. Order of Padthai Noodles, Panang Curry and order of Spring Rolls little over $33.
Sorry for the pictures of half eaten food plates.
EDIT: 10/20/21
Changed to five stars.
Once again we ordered the same food as last time, but I forgot to mention that I didn't want eggs as well. The person who took the order called me back to ask if I wanted the food without eggs. Haven't experienced this type of customer care from any restaurants in a long while. This will be the restaurant we will go whenever we crave Thai food.
Most excellent food and excellent service at an affordable price. I highly recommend Thai Specialty and they're family friendly, too!
Our family has been here quite a few times over the past 10 years and we have always received excellent service and the best Thai food in the area! I highly recommend the Thom Kha soup. They have great take out as well.
This was my first time and we have tried hawaiian fried rice and pattsiu (?). It was all awesome and the price was also great. I guess this is the only(?) Thai place in Brea as far as I know and they got an award from the city. It seems like they are also popular with a curry. They also have lunch special price for weekdays. Any ways, if you are looking for a thai place, please try there. At least, you will not regret.
Pantai was delicious. Catfish was too spicy. Service was good.
Thai Specialty’s Yellow Curry and Thai Tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had. Excellent food and service!
Honestly my boyfriend and I came here just to try it, little did we know that the food here was going to be as good as it was!!!! I typically get the "Chicken Noodles" and oh boy they don't have any reason being as good as they are! My boyfriend likes to try new things and he loves it all! My mom got hooked when I took her there and now she always gets their Shrimp Fried Rice because of how flavorful it is!!!!! 10/10
We were in the Brea area today. We visited this afternoon and found this gem. I had yellow Curry with soft tofu. Also garlic chicken. Delicious!! New favorite! Also the staff was very courteous.
I ordered thai tea and kang pad curry. It was great and the portion was also big. Service was also pretty fast.
We came here on a whim, and it was really good. They have daily specials like pumpkin curry which was good. Their portions are good sized and we had enough to eat later. I will definitely come back here with my wife and bring others. Service was really good and that is another reason to return. 5 stars. If you are doubtful I saw give them a chance like me and you will see.
We enjoyed our Thai dinner. The least adventurous diner in our party, I had Orange Chicken, with rice and an orange slice. The sauce was a little too thick and sticky, but the taste was delicious, so I'm not complaining. My husband had "Spicy Shrimp" which he didn't think was spicy enough, but it was alright. Our friend had Green Curry and really enjoyed it.
I write reviews infrequently but I had to leave one here.
The Panang Salmon was impressive. I asked for it spicy and a little less sweet.
Thai Specialty is an amazing restaurant. If your a Thai die hard you won't be disappointed. If your a new Comer and are thinking about it. This is the place for you. The friendly staff will help you navigate the menu. The yellow chicken currie with cashews added is my favorite. If your on the fence hop off it and come in for dinner. You'll thank me later
LARGE portion of (Tofu Veggie) Pad Thai & big summer rolls.
I didn’t eat it until about 30 min after pick up, so the noodles were a little stuck together but they came apart easily after mixing it.
Personally, I would’ve liked more green onions and vegetables but that’s just my preference.
Lacks a little flavor but it’s good overall. I forgot to ask for chili paste when I picked up my food, but luckily I have some at home.
Probably wouldn’t get the summer rolls again though. They’re HUGE, but not flavorful enough for me
4 ⭐️‘s because for $10.99 this is a fairly large portion of pad thai
