My husband and I had THE BEST experience at The Canteen last week. Service was perfectly timed, friendly, with great recommendations. We had the 'Merica burger with side of mac n cheese, G-dub wings, and a few of their signature "canteen" cocktails. Hands down, the best wings we've ever eaten-- and that is saying something considering we order wings pretty much every place we go. We loved our meal & service so much we returned for lunch the next day (!). You MUST get the mac n cheese (worth the up charge), and any of their smoked meat options. We eat out a lot, and this place is officially up there as one of our all-time favorites. Can't wait to go back!

We were wanting burgers and this place hit the spot! We were seated quickly on the patio. The weather was fabulous and so was the view!
Food is awesome here. Burgers, Sandwisches, wings and beers. The menu also offered entrees like grilled Salmon. Service staff was super nice and the food came out fast. No complaints here. We really liked this place.
So, if you ever are in Breckenridge (highly suggested) and you’re really hungry and need an adult drink I highly suggest going to The Canteen-Tap House.
While there ask the friendly bartender Josh, for a Spicy Donkey, ironically enough it is of the Mule family! ���
But, be prepared! It has a bit of a “front” and “backend” bite (a good one!) and when you get close to the bottom, you WILL suck up a jalapeño seed or two and that will surprise! But boy oh boy was it GOOD!
The food is also excellent and comes in healthy portions.We’ve eaten here multiple times and we will every time we come up. It’s soooo worth it! FYI, the homemade bbq sauce, mustard sauce are TOP NOTCH!

The jerk chicken wings with blue cheese is really good. We have been there twice and not disappointed either time. Korean street taco’s yum!

Always our "go to" when we're on that side of Summit. Great burgers, drinks and service. All around fantastic ��, we can never get enough of this place!
My boyfriend and I were visiting from Houston Texas and were craving a big meal. It was amazing plus we had a great view!! We had the brisket and New York strip. Definitely will come here again next time we visit :)
That was a delicious meal and the moscow mule and salted caramel ice cream was amazing. Staff very friendly.

Casual atmosphere with great view of the slopes (depending on seating). Meal was very good: Asian style salmon for me and bison burger for my son. Service was brisk and pleasant. Would go again when next in town.
Super-sized portions and the food is all fresh and made in house, including an outstanding chunky potato salad. The ahi tuna salad offers a generous portion of tuna and crunchy wontons in a not too heavy soy and peanut based dressing. My companion enjoyed the mahi tacos, the fish was fork tender and grilled perfectly. Another companion ordered a veggie “fun guy” burger. A huge slab of “meat” but the mushrooms tasted canned. We ordered chips and salsa but were served a fresh pico de gallo with just the right amount of garlic. The dog friendly patio was perfect for a Sunday afternoon. Service is friendly, fast and efficient. Prices are very reasonable considering the ski town location and the .generous portions. We will make this our first choice for our next mea In Breck.
Great food with a great view! We had lunch here. I got tacos my wife got a pulled pork sandwich. They have local brews and lots of other drink choices.

My husband and I had a late lunch here (a recommendation from a local). Food, service, and drinks were amazing. We had the bloodymary canteen and the margarita canteen, shrimp as an appetizer, and the grilled cheese and reuben.
Outstanding burgers! Great service. Walked in and even without reservations quickly seated. Canteen margarita was well worth it. We will be back.
Hope you are hungry. Comfort food for tired skiers indeed! Wings- wow - smoked and brined with plenty of meat. Don't miss. Family loved unique twists to a burger and I had great mac and cheese with pulled pork. And of course night was made complete because they only serve colorado beer and had my favorite tivoli on tap! Owner mike makes the rounds - class act. Chef is a fan of spam and If you crave this strange but interesting classic you can find several different preperations.
In an old Victorian home cozy bar. Moscow mule served in a canteen! Loved this place we will be back.

A newer, re licensed establishment. Ground floor bar, plenty of seating in the upper levels. Try the place later in the day, heavy family traffic early on which eats up OpenTable capacity.
Delicious burgers and their BBQ sauce is great. Perfect after a day on the slopes. Friendly service and good prices, will go back!
The Canteen was fantastic all around! We enjoyed drinks, appetizers, and entrées for lunch one afternoon while in Breck! I tried the pork tacos .. (and as someone from Texas who has eaten my fair share of tacos) they were incredibly tasty! The barbeque sauce was the perfect amount of sweet! My husband decided on the pulled pork sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it as well! (Not pictured) are the wings we ate as appetizers and they were awesome, too .. crispy, saucy, deliciousness! If we ever find ourselves back in Breckenridge .. we will definitely be back!
Ate here twice on our 4 day trip if that tells you anything. Canteen drinks are so good. The first one I thought there was too much ice until I started drinking and trust me, there’s plenty of drink.
Hung out at the bar where we finally met a personable bar tender. For some reason we weren’t having the best luck with that around town.
Food was just as good as the drinks. And if it weren’t snowing I would’ve sat out on their spacious porch next to the fire pit.
Great place for mules!! Served in my Army canteen cup! Great Amarilo sours too! Wings were good also. Friendly staff and great outdoor seating with a view!!
My husband and I are foodies so we love planning our vacation around places to eat. This place blowed us away! Best pork tacos and best Reuben sandwich we’ve ever had (and I live in Texas where there are tacos in every corner). The explosion of flavors on both dishes along with a delicious massive margarita was exactly what we wanted. We had to come back and grab a couple more Reuben sandwiches for dinner the same day - it was that good. Highly recommend.
