Anita's Place At Boston's Bremerton

TL;DR: once decent, now even better. Also: the hours that Google reports are incorrect. They are open Sundays. I like the old Boston's a lot. The staff were amazing; the pizza was disappointing, but consistent; hot sands were nothing amazing, but tasty and also consistent. Let me add that it is very difficult for anyone to make a pizza that I ever want to revisit. Most of all though, old Boston's had stromboli(!!!). The new Boston's has carried forward the stromboli and this makes me so happy. The stromboli is even better now! First, it is nearly impossible to find stromboli in the Seattle region, much less a passable stromboli. Old Boston's had a consistent stromboli. Tasty, a touch on the dry side, but reliably decent. New Boston's has upped the game. The stromboli is now beautifully golden, perfectly stuffed, and very well-balanced. There is no dryness to be found in new Boston's stromboli. There are meatballs in the stromboli. I don't recall meatballs previously, but this stood out because they are damn good meatballs. Please tell me these are what goes in the meatball sub! Given the improvement in the stromboli, I look forward to trying their other menu offerings. The interior decor is much more welcoming now. There is a selection of books near tables and waiting areas, books that I actually want to pick up and read. There were three people working in the restaurant and they were all very friendly and professional. I enjoy the changes I see so far and will be going back for more.
