Der Blokken has quickly become my favorite place to have Sunday breakfast! I love their food and the ambiance is chill. I like the staff as well. I have yet to try their lunch/dinner and drinks but I plan on it. So great to have this gem in the neighborhood. :)

I'm in love with this place. Come for the breakfast on the weekend, or the excellent Kip and Fritz, or the Poutine... Oh, and they also brew beer, how could I forget that.
Hadn’t been in a couple of years, but decided it would be a perfect place to take my mom for Easter brunch.
The salmon Benedict, and lox and bagels were both flavorful using fresh ingredients. Will be back again this summer for brunch, and possibly dinner.
Great time celebrating a Friends Birthday. The food is outstanding. Best Pork Schnitzel ever. Thank You Tim and staff for going over and above making our dining experience wonderful.
Awesome strong beer, especially their stouts! Great burgers, ruben sandwiches and even a Ruben pizza with an awesome crust and excellent home made dessert. Get the carrot cake! �
Went to Der Blokken for taco Thursday and man was it good! I also am not a huge beer drinker however their Raspberry Hefeweizen and their Red are amazing!!! I am excited to keep coming back for more food and beer!
Beers are very solid. Had a flight of several beers and all were fermented and very clean. Sounds like a backhanded compliment, but it isn't. WA state is chock full of breweries that brew bad to mediocre beer. The brewer here is making good stuff. I also had a few wings and a ham wrap sandwich from the kitchen. The food was great. A gem of a place.

They just started serving breakfast and it's great. It's really affordable and it's good food. My husband got marionberry pancakes and they were delicious. It's so nice to have this place in the neighborhood. We will be back next weekend.

This is most definitely our new favorite hang out! Tim and Marcus are awesome! The beer is great and the menu is so much better than the standard bar food! So glad to have this place so close to home!
My guy and I absolutely love this place. The beer is great and the food is pretty great too! Love Marcus, he is always so fun and attentive. They get really busy sometimes, but even with a little wait its always worth it!
We had a group of 10 on a Saturday evening. They weren't busy, so service was good. We all loved the food. Would like to see a 2nd choice of cider. Pineapple cider didn't sound appealing. One in the group got it and said it was too sweet, but no other choice. The food was unique and not available elsewhere in the area. I would like to try other menu items.
Always great food, service and drinks. We usually go a couple times a month and have tried a variety of menu items and it's always good!

Der Blokken is the BEST!. When given a choice of going to a "chain" restaurant for our anniversary, I decided to support local business and go to Der Blokken. Home made from scratch menu that is delicious fare! Add to that the variety of beers crafted by brewmaster Amanda and you have a perfect evening. A family friendly neighborhood "pub" with great service and excellent food. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a "local" experience in the Kitsap County area. Flat iron steak, BBQ ribs, pork sliders and a nice appetizer and salad menu as well.
Loved the food. Went for a late night meal with my husband. I like the atmosphere, blues playing in the background. Beer was awesome, of course. I had the Blue burger and he had something with pulled pork. They were both excellent. The onion rings were the best I've had. It is a bit overpriced but the food was good enough that I will be going back.

As for 2 negitive review, they have no clue, this place is one of the best in town, great home brew beer, great food, the staff and owners top notch. If you have an issue with the food talk to the managers/owners ,I guarantee it will be fixed. Not post a crappy review due to a mix up. Our family loves it.

BEER!. I love beer, and I love this place. Really good beer, really good food, good service, and a fun atmosphere. I could drink, ahem, I mean eat there everyday. It's just one of those kind of places.

Awesome food and beer! The tradition bar food was superb. I think this is our new favorite hangout. Loved the great service, beer, and food. The whole staff takes pride in the place. The hostess even made the dessert, "bread pudding" and it was the best I've ever had, and I am really picky. Eat here it's great and the prices are decent.
Don't Miss This Brew Pub!!!. We arrived at the busy Der Blokken Brewery on a Saturday afternoon. We scooted right past the line waiting for tables and bellied up to the bar for some refreshments. The joint was jumping and the bartenders where hopping non stop. This did not stop them from being friendly, informative and entertaining. Loved the Der Blokken Beer which is the home brew. They also have an impressive list of hard to find beers. Most I have never seen in other restaurants. We ordered snacks at the bar and was I so glad we did. We had their special Steak Medallion appetizer ...oh, my god! The sauce and was soft, rich and the medallions were so succulent and tender, they were to die for!
BTW, Best chocolate moose in the WORLD!!!!

Surprised. I completely disagree with most of the reviews. Every time I have gone to Der Blokken, I get great service and great food! They have expanded their menu, so the "not a good selection" is invalid. They do have a good beer selection, including BitBurger! Der Blokken is the only place I know of, this side of the water, that sells it! My favorite thing to order there is their Poutine. I recommend this place to anyone who likes beer and food!
Good Beer, Good Food. I went on July 3rd. They must have the kinks worked out because the food was good and hot. We placed our order in a timely manner and it took a reasonable amount of time.
The pasta special was really good. I will say they were slow to get us out. Felt like forever to get our check and pay. We weren't in a hurry so it wasn't really an issue.
