Look, this is exactly what it is supposed to be. all others are pale imitations. it is fast food. it is meat. don't kid yourself, nobody is playing games. Step into the mildly distopian time machine that is Lions Choice and be happy.
This is the third Lion's choice we have visited in the greater St Louis area and I'm happy to say that it was every bit as good as the other two we've been to. I really like how Lion's Choice is so consistent from location to location in their appearance, service, and food quality. If you've read any of my other posts you know that I look for gluten-free restaurants to visit and this is one of my favorite franchises for that. They have a really tasty gluten-free bun that they provide with the meal in its own little package to prevent cross-contamination. Your sandwich fixings come in containers with lids and you get to build your own sandwich. I think that is pretty clever of them. They also have a large number of soft drink options which are self-serve. We always enjoy a visit to Lion's Choice.
I had to tell them my order three times because they couldn't understand and then when I got my food, it was still wrong and had to go back through the line again. Maybe it would be better if they would repeat the order back so that we are clear that they understood. It's not like I speak of foreign language or have an accent. Young people.
Francesca is fabulous friendly and kind. A definite asset to this location. I often stop by because lions choice is a great choice for my husband and she added fun to my experience for lunch
My partner is newly eating beef again after a few years of avoiding it, so this was a fun little treat for them because it was their favorite fast food growing up. This place was up to our expectations: food was hot, quick, and classic. There were a few dirty tables with random cups sitting on spots sporadically but, I mean, it's still fast food!
I visited lions choice on 10/23 around 1130 and the order taker was very helpful and so pleasant when greeting me at the window. I asked her name she replied Kenisha… you need more people like her around!! Great customer service and she just made it a very pleasant experience.
Arby's should just roll over and die already.
I think they could add a tip jar. I've just been handing cash to the cashier to divvy up. But the food is so good, the service is good, and the locations are always so clean. Even when it's absolutely packed at 1215pm with a line of a dozen cars my online order was ready on 10 mins.
Bonus is the amazing condiment station. So many choices.
Pro tip : get the extra seasoning and extra ounce of beef. I get a king with that and cheddar cheese sauce. Absolutely amazing.
The staff is sometimes short if you don't know exactly what you want. The floors are sticky like they haven't mopped in a while. The food is amazing though!! Will definitely come back.
This was probably the BEST experience I’ve ever had at lions choice. Everything was fresh and hot plus the service inside was out of this world. The gentleman working the front counter was probably the best service I’ve had at a fast food restaurant post pandemic. Thanks so much Derrell.
I liked it. The sandwich was tasty with their seasoning on it, and much more easy on my stomach than Arby's. The fries were actually darn good, crispy and all. I liked that they have strawberry-hibiscus agua fresca. The horseradish sauce is much better than any other roast beef place I've been. Service was fast and friendly, too.
I did have to drop a star because their au jus was watery and bland. It was like slightly beefy brownish water.
Dropped in for lunch. Miss Lion’s Choice. Best roast beef sandwiches around. Got the regular roast beef sandwich with Swiss cheese. Also a side of fries. Make sure you put the horseradish sauce on the sandwich. For dessert, got the mini custard cone for $.25. Great customer service.
Food was good as was the service. I rated it all four stars as it fully met expectations. Solid experience. Have been here before and this location always delivers a good experience.
All staff was incredibly nice and attentive. Came here after a recommendation from a friend as we live out of town. Came to here not expecting more than a traditional fast food restaurant, but got way more. Everyone helping was extremely nice. 100% would come back when visiting again.
Their fries are very good. Beef cooked well done as I requested. BBQ Sauce good.The service crew is always great.
