THIS is Cape Cod. A walk up window for ice cream next to a walk up window for fried seafood!! The Shrimp Dinner was perfect to share, lots of shrimp hot out of the fryer, hot fries and a Coke. Lots of outdoor seating on a nice quiet corner, we will be back!
Great spot in Brewster! There are many good places to get lobster rolls on the Cape. I go to Kate's for everything else. Fish sandwiches, crab rolls, clam platters, fries, onion rings, ice cream. It's definitely worth a stop and a taste. The food is terrific.
The seafood and clam chowder are delicious! I’d highly recommend eating here for the seafood. There are some no -seafood options and a a few kid choices. Prices are average. Kate's is the absolute best. Their food and ice cream are awesome. Unfortunately Kate's owners are putting it up for sale after running this business for 38 years. They will be open 9/8, 9/9 and 9/10. Hopefully someone will buy it and run it the same way. Why mess with success?
Great calamari. Lobster roll was huge. Well made and good lobster chunks. Not just bits of lobster. Got the 1/3pound and afraid to see how large the 1/2 would be. 10/10
Good food. Very expensive lobster rolls ($21.50), but they are at most places. Close to the beach, and overall nice location. Ice cream selection is great (and delicious)! Would highly recommend the fried clam roll.
A Cape Cod staple. I've been going to Kate's for over 40 years to grab some good seafood, fried veggies, a must have raspberry lime ricky, and stroll down the street for a beautiful sunset.

Love Kate's. As a native to Brewster, I've been going there for ice cream since it opened. Onion rings are the best around. And I've always enjoyed the Capt's Club.
Kate's is literally a hidden gem that you NEEED to try. Stayed in Dennis last time, we came 3x in a week. This year we stayed in Truro, made a point to drive completely out of the way just for a stop at Kate's. Try anything. Everything is great. Trust me, we had it all!
