I brought my whole family over and boy, was this a right decision! The menu is so balanced that everyone found something they enjoyed! To start , we all shared a few small plates, including artichoke hearts and great hill croquettes (both crispy on the outside and tender inside which makes for a nice texture pairing). We also tried Wellfleet oysters (wonderful when paired with Sancerre as recommended by our waitress). For main course, I went with avocado oil poached salmon - black bean purée sauce was so good I’m dying to get a recipe, and paired with roast corn made a perfect summer dinner. My mom enjoyed her pomegranate glazed starter chicken with roasted garlic fingerling potatoes (simply scrumptious!) We had the most attentive waitress in the world, she knew everything about the menu so we were able to pick just the right food. The dishes were delivered promptly and we left feeling very happy with both food and atmosphere. I predict this place will be so successful soon you’ll need to fight for reservations :-) I certainly recommend making one for a larger party like ours was!

Our group of 11 (6 adults/5 teenagers) had a wonderful meal at The Flats tonight.
The food and cocktail menus were creative and interesting, making it difficult to choose.
A blueberry gimlet was wonderful with the in house blueberry infused gin, a bourbon lemonade was different and tasty, and the house made sangria was very enjoyable. They do not have a large wine selection, but our Cabernet was a nice accompaniment to our meal.
All eleven meals were well prepared, tasted wonderful and satisfied each of us. We ordered a few small plates: fried artichokes, which were well seasoned and flavorful, house salads with a wonderful citrus vinaigrette and day boat scallops which were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Entrees consisted of scallops, duck breast, sirloin accompanied by wonderful sides of creamed corn, maple glazed carrots and risotto.
All of the desserts were made in house and we tried three out of the four choices. All three were excellent and very satisfying.
Our server was attentive, joked with the kids and answered all of our questions without missing a beat!
Dandy little place for small plates at reasonable prices and a very leisurely pace. The veggie sides are flavorful and a few of them with a mix of the meat or seafood apps can make a fun meal. The regular entrees are varied and well balanced, but not inspiring. The specials were great. Seafood is what this place does best and their prices are much better than many more expensive Cape restaurants doing the same sort of mildly innovative dishes. The scallops app and the blackberry creme brulee special were the best dishes recently.
Amazing dinner here tonight! I was already intrigued by the idea of a wild game restaurant on the Cape and decided to pay the place a visit. Great service from Kelsey at the bar who was helpful with suggestions on the menu, have the tuna tartare for an appetizer which was fresh and a tang of spice to it, great dish! the came the special of the night which was a barbecue wild boar shank with grilled corn and potato salad. absolutely amazing dish...I was unfortunately too full for dessert otherwise I would have checked that out as well. this place is a must visit and just a short walk from the Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster.
A delightful setting -- we were on the deck just last nighr.. Top-notch service and excellent meals. We had duck, scallops, tuna, and sirloin and all were delicious. Very fair price for quality. Nice wine list. A bit of an unknown treasure. They take reservations!!
The food and service is very good. We were pleasantly surprised to get a last minute reservation and were seated outside. The munu is not very extensive but there are a variety of offerings and a number of gluten free options. The prices are not out of line for Cape Cod.
Coastal Engineering recently had the pleasure of celebrating our holiday party at The Flats restaurant in Brewster. After a consultation with owner/chef Mason Pryme regarding our preferences, Mason presented us with a dinner menu where staff could choose their appetizer, entrée, and dessert from a varied menu the evening of the party.
Upon arrival, the restaurant was festively decorated and both the stationary and passed hors d’oeuvres were plentiful and exceptionally good. After cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the tavern, our 50 guests moved to the main dining room for dinner. Our guests enjoyed a choice of five entrées that were beautifully presented and delectable. The evening was completed by delicious homemade desserts.
We had a wonderful party in this relaxed, yet elegant, setting with outstanding food and much merriment. We look forward to returning to The Flats for future events.

Friendly and prompt service on their opening night. The sea scallops were cooked perfectly and the grilled peach margarita was delicious and just right for a summer evening. I look forward to going back and trying the entres.

Very attractive dining room, bar and outside deck. A newer Brewster restaurant, inventive menu, interesting cocktails. Definitely will be back.
My boyfriend and I love this restaurant! The food is incredibly delicious, the portions are generous, the prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. It is our new number one favorite restaurant on the lower Cape.
I was very impressed with the food! And staff and owners tonight on their opening. Excellent food. I am going back tomorrow it was so good. The owners have distinguished themselves at other locations on Cape. Check Flats out and go Eat. Brewster 6A
