In town for business and found Brideport while searching for places to eat. Planned a trip on Wednesday night when they had an acoustic player. Ordered the brisket with hot BBQ sauce and mac-n-cheese. Both were very good. Service was great as well as the acoustic guy. Will definitely return next tim
A great bar that has great BBQ and great specials. I take public transportation out of the city to get here to give you an idea how good it is
The bartender Leeann went above and beyond with her courteous personality & prompt service. Leeann made sure I had everything I needed during my visit. All the bartender’s & servers did a great job this Saturday night during The Newspaper Taxis show.

Depends on what kid of place you like! I love the dive bar feeling and their food is delish. It can get really loud when they have bands which makes it hard for casual conversation, but if you’re okay with that, definitely go for the food. Very casual/chill atmosphere. Known for their live music. Staff was super friendly. Our order came out wrong (twice) but they were really cool about it and quickly fixed. The spare ribs looked better than the baby back imo. Really meaty! For a ribs place, they were just average tasting. But overall

Small restaurant with good bbq. If there is a band playing that you like awesome. If you are there to eat and hold a conversation and there is a band playing you will be disappointed. It’s loud when a band is playing, but if you are there for the band it’s good. Service is good. Beer selection
Great place to go have a drink and some good food. Often has live entertainment. The band played a lot of really good cover songs and really had the place going last night. Very good place I would definitely suggest to anyone to stop by and check this place out.

Great vibe here. Service was good. I ordered fried pickles expecting pickle chips, not pickle spears. Let's just say, they are not easy to eat.
BBQ is excellent! The staff is great, but the bar can get quite noisy. I highly recommend doing takeout.
A significant downside on my visit was that some of the local (Bridgeport) patrons apparently feel that no sentence is complete without at least one loudly spoken four-letter-word.
Popped in for lunch, friendly staff! The prime rib sandwich was AMAZING!! Served hot and juicy with a smile.
