I was in a rush for lunch when I decided to try this place out. All I knew was that I wanted curry goat. I'd considered driving all the way to Rootsman Kitchen but since I live much closer to Mamma Winnie's I figured I'd give it a shot. The place wasn't busy which made ordering quick and easy and the guy working there was nice. He worked with me because I was using debit but most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. I will be going back.
One of the best jamaican food spots in Bridgeport area. Never had a bad dish here. They have lunch specials, seating, a tv, and a clean bathroom and lots of little sweet things for sale normally. Very welcoming family run business. They offer catering as well.
The owners are kind and friendly. The portions are excellent for the price. The food is DELICIOUS! It's my favorite Jamaican food spot in all of Fairfield county.
