I think Bereket is one of the best kept secrets in Fairfield County. The decor is humble elegance and the music transports you to a far away locale. The food feeds your soul like meat and potatoes but with a warm exotic spice to it. I don't understand why this restaurant isn't packed 24/7. I think its because where I live, people don't branch out much beyond Americana cuisine, pasta, pizza, and seafood. But if you want to explore the over 10,000 taste buds in your mouth, I suggest you give Bereket a try. I guarantee this restaurant will become one of your favorite comfort food spots! My personal favorites on any given day are the lamb kabobs, the zucchini pancakes, and the lentil soup. And their baklava is the best in the state! The owners and staff are also amazing and it's BYOB with no cork charge!
Excellent food. Everything was hot and fresh off the grill. Even the desserts were fresh & hot out of the oven. Idk where else in the world you can get hot out of the oven baclava & kanefe. Do NOT skip dessert! Excellent service. Ambiance... meh.
I have been eating here over two years now and I must say that I love the food and the service just as much! Must try their home-made Turkish sekerpare dessert :-)

This restaurant has a fantastic and tasty representation of the wonderful food the country of Turkey has to offer. My family and I have been here several times and each time is wonderful. From the attentive service to the delicious food we truly love eating here. I would highly recommend eating at this restaurant and tasting the lovely food Turkey has!
Good service, home cooking, really nice appetizer and meat plates. Kebabs, meatballs are all authentic and delicious
Good falafel, great grilled chicken leg and super service. Our table of 4 also ordered the lamb, the chicken shish and the mixed grill. The food was consistently excellent and generously portioned. Sides included seasoned rice, grilled fresh tomato, salad, a second grain, and a grilled hot pepper. No lack of variety. There is a selection of beverages and some incredible desserts (if you have no room, take some home). Got to go back often to try the rest of the menu. Vegetarian options available. Not enormous, but spacious enough to be comfortable; outdoor seating available. Only negative is limited parking; go anyway!
The cold appetizer plate was phenomenal! I didnt expect so much authentic flavor. This is true Turkish cuisine. I cant wait to come back and try other menu items!!
Great, consistent, quality food. Been going here for years. You won't find better gyro / shawarma anywhere nearby. Very friendly staff as well.
Wonderful consistent Turkish. We usually get takeout but coming for the BYO is great.
