Very, very scrumptious dinner experience. Flaming Chorizzo started it off. The kids got chicken meals that made me second guess my Filet meal, the chicken was so good. Lovely waitress and staff made us feel like we were family. Would definitely come here again next time we visit CT.
My husband and I love Portuguese food. Saturday night, we decided to go to Bridgeport and have dinner at Omanel Restaurant.
From the moment we walked in the door, we were made to feel welcome. Lisa, our server was exceptionally welcoming and competent.

So delicious Portuguese food! We ordered steak and salad. Fresh bread with butter on the side and a beautiful table setup welcomed us, along with fresh, real flowers. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, and while I didn't think I would eat much, all those smells made me so hungry right at the start
I ordered the Salmon with vegetables and I loved it. Service was good too. I haven't tried any drinks yet here. Maybe next time.
Very easily one of the better Portuguese restaurants I have been to in this state. AMAZING FOOD !!! Best Portuguese food in the area, I recommend to try the flaming chorizo as an appetizer and for the entree definitely suggest you the paella ! The service was very good as well friendly and homemade atmosphere . Very authentic
