I have loved this place for a lot of years. The staff even though they change they are so good at what they do, the food is excellent, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great family environment.
Chip is a waiter at Frankie’s at night and he is amazing along with the food being great so is he and only makes it better. He remembered our 3 person order after only meeting us 1 x.
We used to only go every now and then but now we try to go see Chip weekly!!! He has an amazing personality and seems to have a genuine attitude! The food is always great but having Chip only makes it WAY better!!!!
Best diner ever! Have been coming here with my family since I was a baby. And 28 years later, when anyone wants to go to an awesome diner, I direct them here!
My meatloaf lunch special with split pea soup was amazing it fed me for 2 days and the service was amazing as well.We need one in VA.

People really.... People are human and make mistakes. We are so spoiled in this country any little thing and automatically it's bad service. There are people that don't have anything to eat and don't care about a little mistake here and there. Let's be grateful that we have so much food and choices in this country that others just don't have. Let's stop being so selfish and judge mental and let's embrace the fact that life is more about enjoying life and appreciating that we are alive and breathing. People it can be worse...we can be starving or living in a country that does not give u choices or the freedom on what we can eat or even what to say etc. there are more important things to complain about.

Frankie’s Diner is a local, old style diner that we visited for dinner while in Bridgeport, CT. The Gyro with chicken was very good. —Generous portion and good price too. The Cheeseburger with Fries was average, and nothing special. …But the Chocolate Milkshake with Whipped Cream that was made by our Server, Lori, was absolutely delicious! So delicious that we ordered a second one and shared it!
Admittedly, Frankie’s is not fancy, but if you’re looking for a nice meal that’s reasonably priced, I believe you won’t be disappointed… especially if you get Lori’s Chocolate Milkshake.
PS. At checkout we enjoyed a very pleasant chat with Raymond, the Manager.

Great place to eat at however I understand their short staffed but when you see a customer. Weather it's dine in or take out and can't assist them right away at least acknowledge their presence and let them know someone will be with them soon.
One worker kept walking past me and never spoke but managed to speak to the other customer who was finishing his breakfast. I didn't mind waiting I just wanted her to acknowledge me instead felt she was ignoring me.
Great food and attentive service. The owner and the employees are friendly and welcoming. The Mike's chop salad is a must! Delicious, healthy, and filling. The prices are reasonable and you definitely get what you pay for.
Frankies diner is an amazing diner! Every time I go to the diner I receive excellent service. The food is amazing and the customer service as well. The workers there are kind and generous and never rush you especially when you do not know what to order. The diner is clean and and well put establishment. Anyone that goes will have an amazing experience. The owner of the establishment is also a very kind hearted and amazing man. He interacts with all his customers and makes you feel welcomed. Was really good, ordered a hot dog with ketchup and bacon and a side of pickles. Unfortunately the waitress and I forgot the pickles part. The hot dog was good sized and all beef as advertised and had crazyyy amounts of bacon. About $5 can't complain. Mom had the chicken souvlaki which was delicious and very generous with chicken, more veggies would make it perfect. All in all a great meal for the price at a decent diner.
