La Caguena provided the food for a wedding rehearsal dinner I hosted last Friday for thirty people. I could not have been more pleased. The food was ready when promised. I picked it up rather than have it delivered because I wanted to have control over the timing. It was plentiful and absolutely delicious - all at a very reasonable price. Michael was wonderful to work with. He helped me plan the menu which had a great variety of his offerings and he was flexible in how it was provided. Michael is extremely busy so there were a lot of traded voice messages which made me nervous but at the end he provided exactly what we asked for and more. I wholeheartedly recommend La Caguena.
Great "Spanish" Food. Can't say for certain that this is a "Spanish" restaurant, but the food is certainly authentic central/south-American of some sort. The restaurant is small - and not much to look at. But the food is fantastic. The portions are enormous - and the prices are very low. We had chicken, rice & beans, fried plantains and some sort of fried potato ball. All very good. Recommended.
Great spot for a quick bite to eat! I grew up in the neighborhood and I make sure to drop by every time I'm in town. The food is delicious and the owner is always welcoming. Anything on the menu is sure to please!
Amazing food! We had the kabobs with plantains, rice beans and empanadas. Everything was delicious and very filling! Definitely going back!

Good food but not enough food for that price. They went up. A small rice n beans with $1 plantains $9 and change.
The best Puerto Rican food I have tasted from the rice to the beans to potatoes balls and sancocho. Can't leave my favorite dessert behind "Flan"😘😉😋😊awesome freshness. Great customer service. Love it.
I have been going to this place for years, as well as my entire family. They are so good, and the owner is so friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves great spanish/Puerto Rican food. I am sure they were hit hard during the pandemic, so I'm sure they need support.
Really delicious food. My kids love coming here :) they have many different options to choose from and it all taste good! You won't be disappointed.
