As a Puerto Rican who came from the island this place was right on the spot, just like home. The skirt steak, the mofongo best one I’ve had in New England so far, everything very delicious and the staff very friendly and nice. If I ever crave Puerto Rican food this is gonna be my place.

I’ve been here before, so to celebrate my Mother’s Birthday I stopped by 5/15/22 to have some good eating. I’ll pay whatever, as long as the food and service is great. The last time we had a rocky experience when we first arrived, that ended up great with great food I decided to give it a chance.
Wow where can i start? What a disappointment! Im a New Yorkrican that has spent much of my youth in Puerto Rico. I have just recently moved to Connecticut and have been craving for some time now a great Mofongo with Carne Frita. I thought i hit the jackpot when i searched up La Bodega del Mofongo. W
First time here,and of course not the last!!!.I ordered a BISTEK ENCEBOLLADO CON MOFONGO(steak with onions and mofongo)blown away with flavor and tastyness!!!amazing food,definitely coming back,congrats to the chef on such great food.
