It's a must do every summer. ....my family has been coming to Bridgman and St. Joe's for years.....Mike's is our first stop in....and last stop before heading back home to Bourbonnais Illinois. ....we recommend Mike's to friends and family who head that way.....great food
My Grandfather built this drive-in. My Aunt Carol owned and ran it, and cooked there for years. My mother also worked there. She had the most AH-amazing food, shakes, malts and ice cream - hard and soft. Money's has good food as well!!
Great drive in fare. Nothing fancy, just yummy. We go there several times each summer and look foward to it reopening every year. Best chicken dumpling soup in the world! Rootbeer is just like you remember it from your childhood.

I worked at "mikeys" when it was Hads, so very long ago, we have now for 39 years lived across the street from here, you can see my house from this picture.
My kids have ate there, now my grandchildren continue to go there, the little ones especially love going there. Their strawberry shakes are the bomb according to my oldest grandson. :) The people that work there are so friendly and fun to talk to too.

Very tasty!. This place is super swell! The service is great, so is the food, and the ice cream the is so so so good! They have everything an awesome restaurant should! It's like an old diner and you can order and eat in your car. The lemonade is also very yummy and refreshing! Come here for a nice, fun, relaxing, yummy, and cool dinner or lunch!
It's nice to still be able to come to a real drive-in restaurant! Burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, floats, malts, and more. Service was fast and friendly. Food was good as well. It's worth the drive off the interstate to go here.

Great little drive in car hop style place. Burgers are always great and huge! Chocolate malts and shakes are the best! Little pricey as is everything lately but this one is worth it.
Great little old fashioned drive-in restaurant. Delicious old fashioned true hamburgers are amazing. Cheese sticks are the best around. And their flavors they add to soda are great. I personally love Coke with Cherry, and Toasted Marshmallow flavoring. I go here whenever passing through and dream about it in between.
We love coming to this carhop service drive in! Never are we disappointed, my fav is the pork tenderloin sami, ordered funny cause I'm a diabetic, no bun, just mayo and slice of tomato. I do wish they had sugar free root beer as I absolutely crave it in the summer. This is why I do without the bun, so I can have fries or the small root beer. I love this place's feel good of nostalgia. I'm 67 this year and well remember my car hop days on roller skates! The girls are kind and just down home friendly. My pup is a HUGE fan of the foot long hot dog without a bun, lol!
We were in town and visited Mikey's for the first time. We have a dairy allergy in our family, so I had reached out earlier in the day to get some allergen information. They were quick to respond and went above and beyond to help, even on a Saturday!
We ordered burgers, fries, mozzarella sticks, and a specialty drink. The burgers were especially good with one exception. I made mine deluxe which was listed as lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Mine was slathered in am excessive amount of "mayo". I could have dealt with that, except it wasn't mayo, but Miracle Whip. I was not prepared for that. Thankfully, it was mostly on one half of the bun and lettuce. I was able to eat the patty and half of the bun. Please, I'm begging you, don't substitute Miracle Whip for mayo without a warning. 😖

We had just finished taking our dog swimming at Warren Dunes State Park and were HUNGRY. Found this drive in and decided to go since we could just eat in the car with our boy.
Parked in the drive in and was greeted by a polite young woman. (I should really learn to get people's names!) We let her know that we have never been here before, so she gave us time to pick out what we wanted while she got our drinks. She even offered to get a bowl water for our dog!
I ordered the hamburger, fries, and small strawberry shake while my boyfriend ordered the cheeseburger, fries, and chocolate shake. The food did not take long to be made.
I had to roll my window up just a little so the tray could sit on the window.
The burger was good. There was no salt on the fries - such a great thing to do - I which more companies did that! They do supply you with salt and ketchup, so don't worry. And, the shake was mighty tasty.
I kept craving to go back over the next couple days while were in town. I regret not going back. I know, it's just a burger... but it was a neat experience.
Definitely recommend for the experience, food, and great service.
It's a must if you're near the Bridgman area and want a quick bite to eat. They've got a good selection and it's a really cool environment. If you want a good scoop of ice cream this is the place to check out.
Probably the best burger I've had in a long time. The carhops are very sweet and the wait time for our food was minimal considering we were there at rush hour 5:00 p.m.
Fun place with great burgers. Looks like an old fashion drive in with car hop service. Employees were fantastic, so was the food.
