If I had wrote this review a week ago it would have been a star. I went the Saturday it opened and the beer was luke warm..not the cozy I remember.
BUT, I gave it another shot this weekend (open for 7 days) and it has turned around. The service was super fast and the beer was ice cold. It literally had ice on the outside. It was a bottle of blue light. Ordered a burger and it was damn good. Not sure if they are using Marv's burger still but it was tasty. Brioche bun was a good upgrade. Still came with all the fixin's. I will try a pizza next time and see how that is. Prices are higher but I think that was to be expected. My only suggestion is to get some good ole boy music going on the weekends. Stuff the old jukebox had, but live. That would be awesome.
Wow! I happened to be heading to a Tigers game and My wife and I stopped by for lunch. We happened to stop here purely by luck. I don't know the history of the Cozy Inn but I am sure the future is bright as the decor, food and service is over the top! No review can do it justice. I highly recommend a stop if your passing thru and enjoy eating at a place the locals must enjoy!

Atmosphere was different, but in the company I had, very familiar and better! Finally! Red wine on the menu! Lol and even tho that menu favored white wine, the single choice I had was perfect. (Vs Lambrusco ftom the old days lol!) Riley was our server, it was her first day, tho all the help kept tabs on us... she was delightful and energetic and nailed it. Ended up with a bigger group than expected and she didn't miss a beat. Great evening, great company, great food, great place. The new cozy is good, and bonus. ..I didn't feel the urge to burn my clothes when I left lmao! I still gotta talk to papa Curt....cuz he's the true judge :-) ♡ Keep it up, Cozy! The heritage you're up against is ..... daunting!
Staff was great!! Food was great too!! I highly recommend the cheese fries with bacon...yummy!! Chicken Tenders were yummy too!!
Ordered everything on the menu since dad was paying ; ) and it was allllll so goood!!!! The corn beef sliders are a must! And the wings are bomb!
They did a fantastic job remodeling this place. Looks great and the service is great as well! I was there when it was a hole. Completely different and much better. I will definitely go back.
The banger shrimp is to die for! I highly recommend the fries as well!

First time at Cozy Inn. Fantastic Food. I had a bacon burger, onion rings and a nice fresh cold Oberon. The live music was awesome. Matt Keil played. Staff was friendly, good service. Nice atmosphere. Definitely going again!

It's not the old bar we all loved, but it's a great second life. I enjoyed the old for many years, and plan to keep up w the new!!

The service was excellent, prices fair and food prepared as we requested. I wish I could remember our bartenders name but she was doing a double shift on 7.1.18. She rocks and is a keeper!!

This place lives up to its name. The place is quite cozy. You can tell that this place has been around for quite some time. There is old memorabilia on the wall of Brighton from way back in the day, including this old motor cycle. So the the atmosphere if very cool.
As for food, they have these buffalo chicken wontons, which were very good. It was $10 for 5 of them though, which is a little pricey in my opinion.
For the dinner, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with chips. That too tasted quite well.
Overall, this is a nice little place with good food and good vibes.
It's a little hole in the wall restaurant in Brighton with awesome food. If you want to avoid the traffic of the downtown Brighton area and pay a more practical value for food, this is where you go. My favorite hands down is their Cozy Burger! I also love the little plastic containers of side garnishes that they give you with it. Its got peppers, pickles, horseradish, banana peppers, etc. Their fish n chips are awesome too. This is a nice atmosphere and kid friendly.
So good! Amazing waitress, so personable and sweet. I have only been here once, this being my 2nd time...I will be back soon, even if alone...food was that great!!

So glad we gave them another try. Used to love going here years ago and went last summer and was very disappointed in the burgers. What a difference a year makes. Best burger around! This is what I remember about this place and we'll definitely be going back.Great service too!
Really enjoyed the Cozy Supreme Pizza. And the breaded pickles are a must to order!
