The quality of food, the speed you get it & the customer service you receive at most restaurants has suffered lately thanks to labor shortages, supply chain issues, & COVID. So the fact that we had to sit for a few minutes longer than usual (it only took us about 7 minutes) and it was right before they closed was completely worth it when we got our food! Our burgers with special requests were made just as we asked & we're hot & fresh (you can tell when burgers aren't fresh), the drinks had the right amount of ice, little man's nuggets where very warm but not so hot he got burned & the fries.... The most important part of the meal... They were HOT!!! Like fresh out the fryer, don't burn your tongue hot!! And they salted them! And not some little, weak, half a dash, barely noticeable kind of salt job that's become the normal! These fries were SALTED... & delicious!! They remembered our dipping sauces, napkins, straws, everything! And customer service?? Well considering it was 10 minutes to close & they suddenly had a line 6 cars deep...that kid must be crazy because he was smiling & laughing the entire time!! This Wendy's rocked it! And give that crazy drive-thru kid a raise! Thanks to the late night crew for getting us a good meal during rough times!!
