Great place to gather, great food and great staff. Definitely highly recommend this place. Love it and will surely revisit!!
The server recommended the polish dishes on the back of the menu. So glad he did! I've never been a fan of cabbage rolls but these were delicious. The pierogies were fantastic! Put the polish dishes on the front of the menu - they are special! Great server too. When a place is crowded with locals, that says something.
We were at Jack's Grub and Pub on July 3rd and we had a wonderful experience! The food was wonderful as was the service! We also enjoyed listening to Ken Dinkin's music! We can't wait to come back!
Love the atmosphere, the food but most of all the excellent people who work there and own the establishment. They are always friendly and are exceptionally caring and funny. The scratch kitchen desserts are SCRUMPTIOUS for sure. Even if your full get one to take home..you will not regret it. Nan's Maple Dressing Salad is the best.
We were staying at the casino and wanted some place to have lunch and a few drinks. We were not disappointed! The food was excellent, as was the service. I had the reuben. It was perfection! We will definitely be stopping back on our next visit in the fall.
Food and service was excellent. I had the Whitefish and my spouse had BBQ pulled pork. Cole slaw was the best ever.
Been there once for breakfast and once for dinner. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. The fish is fresh and was told they will NEVER serve frozen. The prices are also very reasonable. They feature daily homemade desserts, I highly recommend the chocolate cream pie!!
We came here looking for perch. It was so good we came back a second time. One of the best perch dinners we've ever had. Everything was just right, the servers were friendly, the beer was cold, and the prices were reasonable. We will come back.
Very good breakfast at a reasonable price. Good coffee too. Can't wait to try the lunch/dinner menu, hope they make a killer burger.

This place has pretty good food and friendly servive, that's why it gets 4 stars. The hours just changed for the spring season and they are open for dinner on the weekends ( definitely check their hours). During the winter they were open for breakfast and lunch. They have good pancakes and the pierogies Breakfast skillet is really good. The U.P. Cranberry salad and the pulled pork sandwich are also pretty tasty. Smelt was a special on the menu and my husband enjoyed it.
There is a central fireplace that keeps things comfy in the winter and I believe there are few tables outside by the river for warmer weather dinning. There is a bar in a separate area with seating. The service is friendly but I do believe each meal is made to order. With that said, when it's busy you may have to wait just a little longer than normal.
I may have marked it lower because of the occasional wait and the fact that there aren't a whole lot of "dinner" style meals on the menu. But in this area, I believe it can be very hard to judge the flow of customers and and I think I'd prefer my food prepared for me when I get there instead of a few days prior. I have been satisfied with my appetizers and meals each time...so 4 stars it is.
Visiting from Ohio and camping at Brimley State Park. Very nice local restraint got the Whitefish sandwich with sweet potato fries along with a shrimp basket. Very good food and excellent service.
Super delicious and was out pretty quickly for how Busy they were. Prices are kinda high, but that's everything lately. Was definitely worth it and will be back to check out lunch and dinner. This Farmers Breakfast Skillet was flavored and tasty!
OMG!!! The very Best biscuits and gravy!!!! Can't wait for our next UP vacation so we can dine here again !!!!So 2023 vacation,was so excited to get the Biscuits and gravy here this time around,well ,they don't serve breakfast any more!!! And such a limited menu and $$$$$! Lesson learned now two places up here I will not go to ever again.Stay away go to the pizza place up the road better quality food and decent prices!!! Sorry Jacks Pub and Grub need a name change ??? Jacks Get You In The Wallet,yes that might be a good name

We had dinner here on Friday and liked it enough to come back for breakfast on Saturday. Both meals were tasty and fresh (buffalo wings/French dip for dinner, pancakes with meat/potatoes for breakfast), and the service was good with reasonable prices for the amount of food. We did wait about 30-40 minutes after ordering our breakfasts due to the staff shortages affecting everybody.

I had the 3-piece whitefish dinner thinking that I never get enough fish...silly me! 3, large pieces of VERY tasty whitefish, well prepared and great fries. I took one piece home. My wife enjoyed her omelet but was a bit envious! Friendly and efficient server and overall, very good experience!

Love this place when I'm working in brimley I always make the mistake and stop here for lunch and then I don't want to go back to work because my belly's too full and I need a nap 😴😴 😴 great food

While visiting Brimley Michigan this week we eat here. What a nice place! Food was great, atmosphere was great. The bar was segregated from the restaurant which made it nice for having my daughter.

The menu was designed to accommodate the staff which was good for us because we were HUNGRY!😃 the food was made quickly.
I had bacon cheese berger basket with fresh cut jalapeños 🤤 yum!
My side kick had chicken tender basket... she had enough for two meals 😉 and a full 16oz cup of ice water, on her lap 🤭 she was eating ice out of her hoodie pocket even after we left 🤦♂️

The food was good, but the service was a little slow.
Jack's is a great place to go in and catch a bite to eat for lunch or supper. The Staff is nice and the food is very good. We tried it again, this time for supper. My Wife and I really enjoyed our meal and the beer. I had whitefish basket and my Wife tried a mushroom Swiss burger. Both were really great!

The Whitefish was delicious. I love the light bread crumb coating. The fish was flacky and flavorful.
Pulled pork with coleslaw on top was very good. The slaw had a little bite to it.
Overall the food was very good.
