My husband and i stopped in there when we were in Bristol father's day weekend. We had traveled from Wyoming on our motorcycle and were looking for a good home cooked mom and pop meal. Black Wolf Harley Davidson staff recommended Broad Street on State. Now let me tell you bikers know their food, bars, and best riding ... we were not disappointed or let down. In all the places we ate at in Tennessee and North Carolina Broad Street ranks in my top 3 places. The meal was amazing and the service...well lets just say that the staff needs to give lessons on how to take care of patrons. I highly recommend this diner to anyone visiting Bristol. I just wish they delivered to Wyoming!!

My dad and I went to visit one of his high school friends, Colin Thomas. The food was amazing, but the service was even better. We highly recommend this place to anyone. We will be back soon!

We had yet another amazing lunch at Broad Street yesterday. The menu includes too much good food to mention here, and it's the best destination in Bristol for the hot dog aficionado. The staff is always friendly, and southern hospitality is the norm...............5 stars!!

Me and a friend finally got to enjoy this wonderful establishment and all I can say is YUM! I had the mama’s burger and it was cooked just right and not to greasy. We also tried the Mac and cheese, you could tell it was home made and so cheesy! My friend had the fancy chicken salad, she gets chicken salad anytime it’s offered and she said it was one of the best! The atmosphere was perfect. The food came out fast, perfect for a lunch hour. Last but definitely not least is the service, fast, friendly and helpful! We will definitely return and hope others will too!

Brings back good memories. Friendly owner and staff. Only place I have ever been able to order sour kraut to go in my soup beans. Soup beans almost as good as Mother made for me. They sure had some good ones at Weavers school too back in the day!

I adore this place. I felt so welcomed, and this is my first time in Bristol. Joyce, Jessica, and Owen are the best. The chicken salad is yummy, and the apple cobbler will make you sing. 😁

Stopped on our trip home to NoVa. Right on the main street makes for tricky parking during the day, but easy to find. Quick diner food, friendly people, and pretty cheap for a lunch stop! I loved the retro comic and Beatles decor above the bar.

Best place in Bristol for hotdogs. Always friendly staff. Also has excellent soup beans and cornbread for those winter days. One of my absolute favorite places to eat in the entire Tri-Cities.

This is the second time to visit the lunch counter. My 6 & 11 year old granddaughters remembered the first time 2 yrs ago & wanted to go back. The food is typical lunch counter Faire, sandwiches, salads, etc. & very good. We came in at a very busy time & after waiting a while for our food decided to visit the Blackbird Bakery for dessert instead. Floats, sodas, malts & shakes are available. Even the music is classic & vintage. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to relive the past or wanting to be introduced to "the good old days".
