Great BBQ, fried chicken, mac n cheese, coleslaw and banana pudding!! Both my little boys gobbled up all their food and even asked for more Mac n cheese. Family owned and they were super friendly and nice! Great service! A must stop!!

What A Find!. Family owned and run southern soul food barbecue place that is cozy, very clean and friendly. The fried catfish, sliced BBQ pork sandwich, fresh cut fries, corn bread and mac and cheese are excellent. Nothing is greasy and you certainly can tell it's made to order. Can't wait to go back and try the fried chicken and any "specials" they may have....like ribs! Reasonable prices in a hidden away little gem of a spot.
Fantastic BBQ sashes.nwich and the best coleslaw I've ever eaten. Fast service and good suggestion on choice of sides. Make sure you have a dessert - banana pudding is super tasty.
This place is a gem! We were looking for somewhere to eat while we stayed the night in Bristol on our way back to DC. If you love southern country cooking, soul food and extremely friendly people, stop here! You won’t be disappointed. The fried chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had. The fried okra was also delicious and the banana pudding blew my mind! The restaurant was homey and clean and the food was all delicious and affordable. A charming restaurant in a charming town. We’ll be back on our next trip!
Glad I discovered this place after visiting the Birthplace of Country Music Museum (it’s less than a block away). Everything was just delicious! My favorites were the meatloaf, collard greens, and cornbread. All homemade from scratch and seasoned perfectly. Delicious!!!
Ordered Lisa’s Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and baked macaroni and I have to say, hands down, the BEST meal I have ever had from a restaurant in Bristol! I recommend anyone looking to buy a AFFORDABLE, DELICIOUS meal 🥘
I went here today (3/5/22) with my church group. I was part of a fairly large party. That being said the food came out very quick in my opinion. I ordered fried catfish and mac and cheese… let me tell you this food was fantastic. Every bite was unforgettable. I will definitely be back, on my own with family, or maybe a small group of friends. Can’t recommend this place enough. Fantastic service and food. I recommend the catfish! A huge THANK YOU to the staff today!!!!
Owner was amazingly friendly and helpful. Fantastic meatloaf sandwich and fried catfish! Baked Mac & cheese was oddly sweet, so I would not order that next time, but other sides were delicious. Great atmosphere and gives a good feel of what Bristol is all about. We will go again!
Stopped in on a cross-country trip for lunch. Enjoyed real southern hospitality and great food. Between three of us had meatloaf, fried chicken, and jerked chicken. All delicious. Easy to get to from rte 81. Easy parking on the street or in their lot. Stop by you won’t be disappointed.
