Went here because we were told the food was amazing. Appetizer came out, which we could clearly tell it had been warmed up. The second Appetizer came out, it was clearly warned up. For the price you pay, you would think EVERYTHING would be fresh. I told the waitress that we would pay for the 2 Appetizers that we had gotten plus our beverages, I told her it's not fresh, we can clearly see is its been microwaved. She said "well this is how we cook all of our food"... Won't be going back. Also they use their booths as storage, so it just looks a little weird walking in & seeing so much clutter.

I agree with a lot of the reviewers here that their sushi is the absolute best in Tulsa... and believe me, I've tried it all. Something as simple as fried rice or lo mein are cooked to perfection. Nothing at all to complain about. Just amazing in every way!

Service wasn’t good. It’s $28 a person, my niece was half price because she is 8. Place wasn’t cleaned, food was okay but won’t go again 😞

The people who say this place is better than Sake 2 Me are sick and need medical attention.
At the BEST this is room temp buffet sushi that's an order format, underfilled and flavorless. The sushi was so underwhelming that I don't even care how awful the service also was, I think we were served by the owners child.
There are sushi places that are light-years better in Tulsa. I can't imagine how this place has a 4.4 rating.

Really good bang for your buck here. We get the all-you-can-eat sushi and hibachi, which is served fresh and quickly. The owners are very nice and the place is always clean.

Got an order of hibachi steak and an order of hibachi chicken. Fried rice did not taste fried at all. Food had no flavor which was very disappointing. They do give a good portion of food for the price but when it doesn’t taste good it doesn’t matter.

I got a ben roll and a philly roll to-go and it was great. I forgot this place was here and I was glad to find it today.
I also got a bowl of miso soup as well which wasn't as flavorful as I was hoping but overall it tasted very much like americanized sushi and that's exactly what I was in the mood for.
I'm glad I stopped by and I hope to come by more in the future.

Great family owned and operated restaurant for great quality sushi and Japanese food. You can see the pride they take in their cuisine and everything has such rich flavor. One of my mainstays.

This is the best sushi place in Tulsa in my opinion! It is always fresh, the waitress is amazing, and they have the best prices and lunch specials. It is very affordable and a great atmosphere!

My family and I love this restaurant. It is the best Asian restaurant we’ve eaten at. It is a diamond in the ruff. We love the teriyaki chicken.

Best hole in the place for sushi, grilled steak with vegetables is delicious too. Everything is delicious here!

Our favorite sushi restaurant by far! The all-you-can-eat menu has a huge variety of items (appetizers, sushi rolls, hibachi, noodle dishes, desserts) on it and is well worth the price. Speed of service here is the only downfall. They only have one sushi chef in the front and they always have the same girl working the tables and taking orders. More recently she's gotten a helper who fills glasses, clears dishes, etc and that helps the overall dining experience. We always go here knowing it won't be a quick dinner, but that it'll be delicious!

This is the only place I have found that can give Fuji Sushi a run for their money. I love the Philly roll. My kids routinely get the all-you-can-eat for $20. It's also close to my house so I eat here often.

Love it. Half these people don't know what they're talking about. I go here all the time with my husband and I have never experienced bad service. The food is always delicious and fresh I love their miso soup and shrimp tempura roll

All You Can Eat Sushi. You could order as much sushi as ypu can eat. Make sure you can eat it all.

-----22 May, 2015-----

Great Restaurant. I loved the all you can eat menu which includes sushi, appetizers, other entrees, and dessert. It's a great deal at 22 dollars! I suggest ordering all you want with in one or two orders. It takes some time, but its well worth the wait!

Great food!. Typically, this place is busy on the weekends.
Worth the wait if there is a long line at the door.

Worst service ever. Our experience was much like the other poor reviews. Food took a long time to get to the table and came out in no sensible order. 3 people at our table ordered things that never came. My more polite friends tried unsuccessfully to flag down our waitress and were ignored several times. I had to raise my voice to even get her to come to the table. Still had to ask for the soup and salads 3 times. Don't waste your time here.

Worse service that we have received in a very long time. Sat at table for 15 mins before addressed, than 3 other tables that were seated after us received their foid before us. Our drinks were delivered to table with no ice and were never refilled. We will not be returning!

Great Price - Great Food!. This place is wonderful! We eat here several times a month and the owners have gotten to know us pretty well. We have little ones who are not patient and our children are always served their "usual" within 10 minutes of us arriving. My husband and I really appreciate their proactive efforts. The food is great and the price for the all you can eat menu cannot be beat.

I've read some reviews trashing the service. Sometimes service can be slow but be patient, this is a family run restaurant. Trust us - Tokyo is worth the wait!

Great little spot!. I have been going to Tokyo for over a year and I have never had a bad experience. It is a small business run by a really nice family. The waitress is always friendly and helpful, sometimes they get busy but she won't forget about you. I always get the roll party platter when dining with a friend - you get miso soup, salads, and four rolls (spider, shrimp tempura, super duper and dragon) for about $27. My other favorites are the Kiss Fire Roll and Green Leaf rolls. My husband doesn't eat sushi so he gets the chicken hibachi dinner and it is always good, he also eats the negimaki appetizer. My little one loves a side of fried rice for $2. I love this place and tell people about it all the time.

Ooof!. Should have walked out when I realized the place smelled like fish. Instead The sushi I ordered smelled like supermarket fish (ie not fresh) so I deemed it inedible. Lots of options in this area of town, I will look elsewhere for sushi.

Two great visits in a week! Our new go-to for sushi. Excellent food and friendly service. This is a family-owned business, so on busy nights don't expect to get in and out quickly. It's well worth the wait if you can chill. Portions on the Bento are generous and are plenty to share between an adult and child. All-you-can-eat is very reasonable, considering everything is freshly prepared to order, not buffet style, and you can order "extras" like appetizers or desserts we usually refrain from out of respect for our budget.

Good food, terrible service. This place made me very sad. I went there on a recommendation from a friend and I might go back once more to give them a second chance.

The food is well priced and tastes good, but the service was the worst service I've ever had in my life. I almost wish the food was terrible so I could just forget the place.

First the waitress asked us for our drink order without ever giving us a menu. When I asked if they had wine she said, "Let me get you a menu." Then when she brought them and I didn't see wine I asked again if they had wine. She said, "Let me go ask." and ran off. What??? Was it her first day or something? Then when I asked what was in the Chicken Grilled Noodle she said, "It's kinda like spaghetti..... like what that lady over there is eating." Damn it, people, I love Japanese food and I know the difference between different noodles. It was at this point I asked the waitress to bring someone else to our table who knew the menu. The owner came over and finally explained what was in the dishes. We ordered and waited.....and waited.....

When the soups and salads came out we only got half as many as we were supposed to. We also only got half as many chopsticks as we needed. Then when the rest of the food started coming out our waitress only brought out one item at a time with about 5 minutes between them. Two of our people wouldn't have even got their orders if I hadn't specifically asked where the food was. My son finally got his food by the time we were all finished.

I will say the food is good. I wish the service was as good. If they had good service that place would be very successful by word of mouth. As it is, I doubt it will last the year.

Terrific!. Maybe the sushi chef changed because it was very good, flavorful sushi when we went on a Sunday evening. The tempura was the crispiest that I'd ever had. We really enjoyed and have told friends to meet us there soon.
We love the all you can eat menu option too.

I have been here several times. I use to live in Japan and this place is authentic. Perfect tempura, miso soup, sushi is very good. Glad a lot of people don't like it because its never very crowded but I hope they don't close.

LOVE this place! Close to m.... LOVE this place!
Close to my office, and I was so glad to see them open. Hopeful for at least decent sushi...I had a great experience. Yummy rolls, and an extensive all you can menu. It helps that the place is really really clean! Hope these guys are in business for a long time. Highly encourage you to try it.

My new favorite in Tulsa. Service is always spot on and the all you can eat for $23 CANNOT BE BEAT! Sushi is always fresh and I count the days til I cano go back!
Kaitlyn
Eat here!. They have all you can eat sushi for 20.95. It is so good! I've here multiple times and I used to dislike sushi. You can get soy wraps which is great. Sushi takes preparation to make so order other stuff with it like Gyoza or salad. Everything came quickly and the waitress was attentive. I love the green leaf roll. Their tempura shrimp inside the roll is delicious. They also make an amazing chicken fried rice with juicy all white chicken breast. So So good!

Terrible service. We waited an hour for our food and placed our 2nd order. We waited another hour only to find out that the waitress did not put the order in.

Good Sushi. After reading the other reviewers comments I had to add my own comments. My family and I went here for memorial day. All 5 of us did the all-you-can eat sushi menu. Everything that we got was yummy. Portion size was also generous. The fish was not paper thin as the other reviewer had mentioned. We got huge chunks! There was only one roll that we did not like, but that was because there was cream cheese in it and we were not fans of cream cheese. Other than that, we had about 10 other rolls that we ordered and we liked them all. Our server was really nice too and came every 10 minutes to get our orders for more rolls. Perhaps I had a totally different server/sushi chef...I don't know but I had an enjoyable experience. The place has only been opened for 2 months or so...so they are still figuring out the kinks in the restaurant but I really like the place.
Lindsey
I would not recommend this restaurant. The sushi and service were terrible. The waitress sat at the sushi bar and did her nails... Nail file and all. We tried six different rolls... The fish inside was like mush, the nigiri was warm, and there was very little flavor...

Do not come to this restaurant! The sushi is horrible and the waitstaff is worse. I've never seen a place so cheap on the sushi. The fish was paper thin! What a waste of money!!!
