It's only been 34 years since I started going there in 1983...and they are SO busy because the food is so good. So be patient when you call in...
But the slices, chicken parmesan calzones and stuffed spinach slices have kept me fed and smiling and haven't changed a bit.
Now I'm hungry...!:)

Love the delicious pizza and wonderful service! The pies are reasonably priced for a family of six. Slices are very big and two slices are more than sufficient per person!
My favorite Pizzeria, especially their Chicken Scarpiello.

Listed as 19.95 on the board, turned out to be 20.80, tax was 1.82, total was 22.62.
Turned out great. They said it'd be ready in 15-20m, and they were right. Came back from a walk around 18m later and paid then, ate my first slice around 25m after ordering. Note: Have scissors or a sharp blade on hand to cut the string tying the box closed.
The pizza actually filled out the whole box from side to side. Crust was excellent, cheese isn't the stretchy stuff, pepperoni tasted great, some grease/oil as well (probably from the pepperoni).
18 inches is huge. For me, it makes for 4 meals over 4 days.
Reacted like Vincent from Pulp Fiction when I opened that box, with steaming ready pizza. "We happy." 10/10 would eat again.
I used to live in the neighborhood and ordered from here all the time. Well, now I moved to Brooklyn and no other pizza shop can really compare to John & Joes. Came back here after a few years and everything tasted exactly the same. I almost cried. The portions, the prices and the quality is everything I remember and better.
We order pizza 🍕 every Thursday since we moved to Morris park and me and my wife always enjoy the John and Joe Pizza pie . Plus the garlic knots that they hook you up with ! Service would be 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️ but they only give my wife free stuff when I’m not around so 🤌🏼#qgtm🤌🏼

I've been coming here since my mother carried me up Lydig Ave as a baby. The food is exactly the same for the 40 years I have been eating it. Staff is friendly. I brought my family here on Saturday and it was just as amazing as the 1st time. Angelo, you are missing the 1993 baseball sponsor plaque. Give me some time, but you will have it soon.

Looks like since the owner is not currently going, customers service is lacking. When l called they haven't picked up and when they did had on hold for over5 min hang up and ordered elsewhere
I’ve been coming here since I was 7 years old! I absolutely love this place, will always be the best pizza in NYC to me. The owners are amazing and loving people. I remember when I was a kid, I didn’t always have money, they used to give me free pizza. God bless them! I live in buffalo now, and would always try to visit anytime I’m in nyc!
Solid good NY style pizza and great garlic knots but ask for marinara.
Great Pizza 🍕 used to come here when I lived in Unionport rd since back in the 80’s. Stopped by the other day and pizza is still as good.
Food could be better. Got a cold chicken roll. Feel like the workers have been slacking lately.
