15 Adults and 4 children showed up with out a reservation after a Family wake and we were accommodated with Excellence. Fast service, hot food, every order correct and wonderful cheerful hospitality after a sad say. Fresh crispy bread, good quality olive oil on every table. Nice light fresh tomato sauce, no handed seasoning... All around a great experience and excellent fast service from everyone. Good value, food portion size to cost. 5 Well deserved stars.

The owners of Ann & Tony's Restaurant pride themselves in treating their customers like family, and they do it with aplomb. The atmosphere is comforting and the staff is welcoming and gracious. But the food (the FOOD!) is sensational. The restaurant is located in a favorite neighborhood, Little Italy the Bronx. Here, the streets are lined with excellent Italian restaurants, a farmers' market, ethnic stores; locals of all ages speak Italian, and a visitor is apt to feel that they are somewhere other than New York. Ann & Tony's menu tells the story of their establishment. Since 1927, the restaurant has been handed down from one generation to the next, and I declare you can feel (and taste) the history. When trying a new Italian restaurant, we tend to order at least a sampling of the more traditional dishes (a marsala, a Bolognese, a parmigiana) to make a comparison with similar restaurants, and with our own Italian gourmet cooking. Here we enjoyed the cold antipasto (prosciutto, mozzarella, sopressata, provolone garnished with cucumber, olives oil & vinegar), and the clams casino (stuffed with bacon and roasted peppers). An entree was the Veal & Chicken Rollatini Combo (cutlets of each stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella, served in a Marsala & mushroom sauce. Wonderfully delicious! (In fact, I'm fairly sure that a little tear rolled down my cheek after the first bite...) Fresh ingredients perfectly prepared with just the right amount of gravy. We look forward to dining here again on one of our regular trips to this unique and special borough of Manhattan.

This was one of the best Italian meals I have eaten in a long time!! Growing up Italian, we all tend to be critics about Italian foods. We loved the staff and the ambience. We will definitely make the trip in from Connecticut again!! ❤️

I have been dining on Arthur Avenue for years but this was my first time at Ann and Tony’s. After a visit to the NYBG we arrived after the lunch rush and were the only ones in the Restaurant. Anthony took great care of us personally. The food was delicious . Will definitely be returning.

First time here and the food was great! I had the chicken limone, tasty and delicious! We came early so we were the only ones in there, had the whole place to our selves! As we were leaving it started getting busy, i will be back again with my mom. She loves old school Italian places. Since she is old school Italian, lol.

We stopped by and it was a great choice. It was a bit empty, dunno know why tho. The service was great and the overall vibe was nice and cozy. The bread and oil was warm and tasty. The wait for the food was a bit long but worth it. I got the Veal Columbo, the veal itself was a bit chewy and took a back seat to let the rest of the dish do the heavy lifting. I subbed in some Penne Alle Vodka instead of the usual Spaghetti in Marinara Sauce and it was pretty good.

Tony is one in a million—his character, his restaurant, and the food was spectacular! I enjoyed every bit of my visit at this authentic Italian establishment. It felt like walking in to a family’s home and sitting down to eat. Wishing many years of success at this restaurant, well deserved!

Love the food, very authentic and feels home made. The food is not overwhelming with dairy like most Italian restaurants and that’s perfect! Atmosphere is very calm and quiet, went on a Friday and Sunday - very comfortable.

Welcoming ambience, very attentive waitress, food was ok 👍🏽 their Calamari was something different, flavorful but different from the usual (I’m not sure if i like it since i love my crunchy calamari 🤣) had the spaghetti carbonara and it was good. We recommend the Limoncello! Very refreshing!

"A Taste of Italy in the Bronx" I recently had the pleasure of dining at Anne and Tonys, an Italian gem nestled on the charming streets of Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. From the moment I walked in, I was transported to the heart of Italy. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with rustic decor and a cozy atmosphere. The staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall welcoming vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. It was nothing short of spectacular. I started with stuffed artichokes, and it was a burst of flavors. The fresh ingredients shone through in every bite. For the main course, I had the farfale napoli, and it was a true masterpiece. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauce had a delightful depth of flavor. In summary, Anne and Tonys on Arthur Avenue is a culinary treasure in the Bronx. If you're looking for an authentic Italian dining experience with impeccable service and unforgettable flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Buon appetito!

This restaurant is fantastic. I went to this place yesterday, for mothers Day. They were gracious enough to take us without reservations. I am giving both the quality of food and service 5 stars. Ralph, Anthony, and the staff are phenomenal. I have been to 4 other restaurants on Arthur Ave. This one is absolutely my favorite. They have loyal customers. Thank you for the great memories.

Was referred to this place by a friend who grew up here and wouldn't stop talking about how much they loved this food. It was a beautiful restaurant and the food was amazing. I had the chicken limone while my boyfriend had the eggplant. I've never had a lemon chicken like that before. It was seriously amazing. The Italian cheesecake was delicious as well. We both definitely plan to be back!

Food was amazing, extremely authentic italian food. Everything down to the ingredients were authentic. The Caprese salad made me feel like i was in italy.... Im positive that the olive oil they use is imported. Oh, lets not forget the fresh in house baked bread. And i cant finish this without the amazing story they have on the back of their menus paying homage to those who started it all. Will be coming back but next time am bringing more people !!! 😊
