My wife celebrated my 50th birthday back in February. Roland the owner and his brother Mike knocked it out of the park. The service was stupendous. Ever since we have gone there 3 times and nothing has changed. The food and portion is worth every penny. But what makes it even better is their service. Who doesn't like to be pampered?? We do and every moment and dollar you spend in this establishment is worth it. Please try the Chicken Martini!! I just had it tonight and it was off the hook. Thank You Rolan and kudos to the chef!

The atmosphere, Brooke the waitress was so nice and pleasant. She recommended certain entrees that people chose. which turned out to be excellent. The food was seasoned to taste excellent choice. I shall return.

I'm from Philadelphia. Came here to celebrate my anniversary. The food was great. The mini Mofongo(Pork/Shrimp) were delicious. I got the skirt steak and egg. I would recommend this place to anyone who really wants good food with a great taste of seasoning. Thank you to our waitress Melissa who was also great. Very professional and polite.

Lortttttt lol mini mofongos were DELISH!!!! I ordered beef stew with white rice, avacado and beans. I really didn't needed the beans because the beef stew sauce was to die for 🤤. My GF ordered skirt steak and eggs and OMG the steak tastes so damn good (yes I had to try it too lol) and the drinks we don't want to go there lol they were good too. I recomend this place. Definitely a shortcut to Puerto Rico. The environment and vibe is amazing. Lastly I have to give all the credit to the chef, we leave them out bc we don't see them but without them restaurants go nowhere right? And the waiter Melissa was very professional and polite, overall Da B*mb.

Had a nice dinner at this restaurant with a couple of friends. I am Puerto Rican so I am always up to finding a good Puerto Rican restaurant in NYC. I have been very disappointed from a couple of places I’ve visited, but can say Con Sofrito fulfilled my expectations. Everyone was very nice except for the waiter. He was not attentive enough and with a little attitude. I had a mofongo with steak (churrasco), one of my friends had a mofongo with pernil (pork) and the other one had arroz con pollo guisado. We also had the mofongo baskets with shrimp, pork, chicken and beef. They serve you bread with garlic and water. We also had piña coladas which were very delicious as well. Would love if someone would open an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant in Brooklyn because the commute to the Bronx it’s too much. There are nice spots in the restaurant to take some nice photos and they have an iPad that would take your photos and send them to your phone. I was very impressed by the menu es being in an iPad!

If there ever was a hidden gem of a restaurant, this is it. Stopped in on Super Bowl Sunday for a quick brunch and was greater by the kindest hostess (Tiny). Our server, Jonathan, walked us through the menu and made great suggestions. Ultimately went with the sampler platter and it didn't disappoint. Great for groups and good drinks. Will definitely be back!

Went on a Wednesday and not crowded. Food was amazing, had great flavor. Mixed drinks were on point. Jessica was our server and she was amazing. Clean restrooms. Plenty of street parking. 3% fee is added on all card transactions. 20% gratuity is added for parties of 4 or more.

Don't know where to begin. I drove past this hidden gem not knowing where I was since it’s in a deserted industrial area but viola I found it. The moment I walked in with my wife, I knew I was in for a wonderful evening. The service was wonderful starting with the Hostess and our lovely waitress who attended to our every need. For starters we both had Pina Colada, WOW man were they good. For our appetizers we had shrimp Empanadas. It was different but it was good. For the entrée, I had grilled Pulpo with Tostones and I really enjoyed that dish. My wife had the Churrasco with maduros. Her dish was very good. We ended our wonderful dinner with flan. We were very happy and satisfied with our time here. Highly recommended this place.

The service was great and the food was delicious. A little more salt/seasoning would have really made the foods we tried pop with enormous flavor. This was a beautiful find when running around and is more of a 4.5. Will definitely return was a great place, great decor and a whole in the wall speak easy feeling when driving through this factory town area of the BX. Very cost efficient and large portions.

Great place to go if you're in the area. Found it on a whim when visiting and can say it was one of the best meals we had. Every dish we ordered was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The only issue was that the margarita one person in my party got tasted too artificial for their liking but the rest of the drinks were great.

72 degree weather and everyone needs to be in this hidden gem! Great food, great service, great ambiance! So much sitting from high tops to low. Heated outdoors for chiller days I'm sure. Parking there quite a lot on the weekends when the Dmv isn't operating but other wise you'll just find a few. The drinks were amazing!!!! Tasty and great mixology. The food was authentic puerto rican food. Picadera can serve for 3 or 4 if ppl are going to have entrees. Seasoned friturasss bomb!!! They do have healthy options for those looking for a less criollo route. Entrees were amazing!!!!! The Catfish... delicioso!!!! We took doggie bags home and man... still very good!!! YUM YUM. Prices are so reasonable. GRATUITY WAS INCLUDED. EVERYONE was sooo super amazing. I believe our server was Jasmine or Jennifer (sorry horrible with names -chemo brains) but she went above and beyond. She is a doll!!!! Can't wait to go again!
