I got bread sliced and baklava. I never had baklava that was cold but it was good. Flaky not too sweet. I ate half but a couple of minutes after eating it I got a tingling sensation in my mouth like too
Much extract, sugar or honey it happens when something gets cold and defrosts
The bakery has a very nice European vibe. I've bought Baklava twice and it's the most delicious baklava I've ever tasted. It's rare you find a bakery in the Bronx that makes baklava and if you ever have a taste for baklava, I recommend you call to see if they can put some pieces aside for you. I will most definitely 😁 buy more baklava.

I love this bakery. Their pound cake is fabulous! They have only wholesome, delicious baked goods. Nothing too gooey or too sweet.
They are always so nice to their customers. They know their regulars very well. They even know some of them by name. I go there for an occasional espresso or cappuccino & desert, & I've never been disappointed.
I went into two other bakeries to order my daughters bday cake and was disappointed with the very rude staff. So glad I took the 20 min walk over to this bakery, the woman who helped me was soo pleasant and nice!!!!! The prices are wonderful, can’t wait to try the cake 😊😊😊

Best baklava I’ve had in a long time!
I haven’t had one of Ana‘s pastries yet that I did not love. I haven’t had all of them yet, but that will soon change now that I have found this wonderful bakery. The cannoli are only filled the moment you order, so the shell stays crisp. The tres leches is sweet mushy magic, as is the tiramisu.
It is also very pleasant to get a table by the front window and enjoy the sunshine.
Special shout out for the burek, a delightful pastry filled with ground beef, or cheese, or spinach. I can only speak for the beef burek although I plan to return very soon for the others.
Just a very small criticism, they need real plates and metal tableware. Also, when I am having my coffee in the shop, it is more enjoyable out of a proper coffee cup rather than a paper cup.
Which reminds me, the cappuccino is also terrific here.
Ana‘s bakery is in Morris Park, on Williamsbridge Road just south of Pelham Parkway South. It is very pretty neighborhood where you will enjoy a stroll.
The people who work there are lovely and the food prices are fair.
Ana’s is a gem of the Bronx!
UPDATE: I’ve now had nearly every dessert Ana’s makes. Still haven’t found one I didn’t like. Also, take home a fresh loaf of bread.
I ordered a birthday cake for my wife here, and they decorated the cake so beautifully! No complaints; the staff are so kind and friendly as well! Will definitely try this bakery again!
Ana’s Bakery excessed my expectations. I ordered a cake for my brother in law and the design was made exactly how I asked. From every little detail it was perfection. Also it was fresh ingredients and creamy.
