Food was amazing!
*Rabo con moro de guandules - OUTSTANDING! It was almost as good as my mother's.
*Chicharrón de Cerdo con Arroz Blanco y Habichuelas Rojas - Get it!
*Pollo Al Horno con mojo - my kid, the pickiest eater of them all, devoured this in one sitting. She had it with white rice.
I have eaten from here many times. The food is most always good. Once in a while, it's been a little too salty. The staff are always pleasant and friendly. They are attentive and patient. This says a lot for these types of restaurants that tend to be fast-paced due to so many customers.
This is a local staple in the boogie down bronx!
Wonderful Food and Service.
Plus everytime I'm in there ordering food I always see somebody cleaning!
Thumbs-up 👍🏾
Staff is always great, food is pretty consistent and convenient for your local go to.
This place has been here since i was just a kid. Delicious Menu. Breakfast is always Hot and Ready to go. It can get very busy during morning and lunch rush. But it definitely worth it and you don't wait long to receive your plate. They attend to you in the order you came in. I'd definitely recommend it.
Not every Spanish local place is good and I have high expectations when it comes to Spanish food because I can make it myself. I have no complaints the food, portion and price are good. Typical Dominican food, I enjoy the traditional Dominican fattening breakfast! Mangu is delish! This is a neighborhood spot not fine dining with practically no parking and a lot of drama in the area.
The food prices were high, but good food. The meat was tender, beans were great and the rice just right. They even had seatting if you want to dine in.
The rotisserie chicken and mojito sauce is on the money. The ribs are great too provided you get a waitress that's not trying to over charge you 11 bucks for a 7 dollar plate. Mostly friendly vibe. neighborhood hood staple.
The pernil was very juicy and had a balanced flavor with the little garlic sauce. The arroz blanco tasted like your Dominican friend's mum's cooking. Delicious delicious delicious. It's really hard to find a to go spot for great Dominican food. I'm definitely coming back next time.
Its clean, the food is good, the staff is a hit and miss, as in sometimes they r nicer to others more than you, or some r nicer than others. The prices r reasonable, the area does have free parking available, the uptown train is only a few steps away, and downtown is across the st. Theres a mini mall near by, optimum store is also in that mini mall. Crotona park is walking distance, as well as social security.
