I am definitely a big fan of sushi almost any day and Fujiyamas is usually where I would go. The only problem I face is when I am really hungry I can finish a plate in about five minutes. I'd be satisfied if they ran a promotion, two sushi plates for about $20. #CaliforniaRoll
Absolutely love this place. Sushi and sashimi quality and morsel sizes are as big as I've found anywhere in the States (had the pleasure of spending time in Okinawa, Japan, so I have something to compare it to). The quality of the sushi was excellent...lived their spicy tuna. The atmosphere is very well kept (asian motif with modern accents), chill, intimate, a little on the quiet side, but I enjoy that. My friends and I sat at the bar so we could enjoy watching the beautiful dishes being served by the chefs, and we were lucky enough to also get some off-the-menu sushi on the house! The service was very fast, and the staff were all very warm and friendly. Will definitely go back again, without a doubt.
Milwaukee roll is absolutely delicious!!! Visiting from buffalo and its some of the best sushi I've had during my travels so far. I travel every other week for work and always get sushi at least once everywhere I go. Highly recommended :)

We moved here from Chicago a few months ago and we were missing our favorite sushi place. However, after one visit to Fujiyama we are so happy to have found a fabulous replacement. Great quality of food and you just have to step one foot in the door to realize you've picked the perfect place to dine. The service from Lily was great! The number of maki choices was gigantic and creative...as well as great tasting. Some sushi places use rice to fill their rolls but not Fujiyama...you will be so pleased you went here and I cannot wait to come back!
Great sushi restaurant--if not the best in Milwaukee, Fujiyama has to be close. Even my 5 year old loves it. Great ambience and outstanding food!

Great, consistent fish from Fujiyama. True winner in Milwaukee sushi.. As someone who lived in San Francisco for 8 years, I've had my fair share of good, high-quality sushi. After moving back to Milwaukee, I've dreaded not having my favorite sushi place right around the corner.
Well, my sister took me to Fujiyama and I was a little skeptical at first. Within the first 10 minutes of being there, someone had a birthday and if you have been there, you know what happens. It made us laugh and we went about ordering our sushi.
First, I'm not a roll guy, and I eat sushi for the fish. I also always eat at the sushi bar. If you want the best fish, order it from the guy standing right in front of you. We asked the chef what was fresh that evening and he gave us a nice sample. Needless to say I was impressed. Not only was there good quality fish but nearly everything we ate exceeded my expectations. It's not San Francisco or even Chicago sushi (yes Chicago, your sushi isn't as great as you'd like to think except for the Asian Carp). The only item that wasn't the best was the salmon, which I've consistently run into problems with fresh salmon in Milwaukee. Why is that?
Anyways, not only does Fujiyama have great consistent fish (I've been back about 30 times since to both locations (Brookfield is better for some reason) and they consistently deliver some of the better sushi for the price in Milwaukee. What I've found is that other places are okay on the weekends when they get their fresh fish but many lack good stuff during the week.
I absolutely adore this place...great sushi, awesome gyoza...all around incredible.
I have eaten A LOT of sushi in my day and Fujiyama has some of the best I ever had. The Sashimi was awsome. Try the sushi boat... Amazing!!!

I recently became ADDICTED to sushi- so I've spent the last year or so trying out all of the sushi joints around Milwaukee. Now, Fujiyama was my first, so I may be partial- but it's much more than that!
The sushi is phenomenal- plain and simple. If you're into raw fish- this is the place to go. I always get the edamame, but that's pretty standard everywhere you go.
My favorite things on the menu are:
Fujiyama Roll:
Smoked salmon, cream cheese topped with spicy tuna & tempura chips
AND
KANI SALAD:
Cucumber, crab meat, masago and mayonnaise
The servers are always polite and never leave my water glass unattended. The bussers never leave a dirty dish for more than a few minutes.
Everything, from the service to the food to the sushi chefs are wonderful at Fujiyama!
Fair priced and good quality. I just stopped in here for a take out order of the sushi-sashimi combo. The interior was very nice looking and modern, but not fusion. A nice salt water aquarium was pleasant to look at while I waited for the food to be prepared.
The food was all delicious and obviously fresh. If I get a hankering for sushi when in the area I would certainly return. If you go to their website they have printable coupons as well.
I found the prices to be pretty fair in comparison to other places. The quality is high, but the prices aren't stupid silly.
LOVE IT!!!. We went there last night for our Anniversary and just loved it... I never write reviews but I was looking for the picture they took of us on-line and stumbled on this, so I had to write something... This small, dim lit room has a great ombionce. Staff super nice and just an over all great experience... oh yea the food was fresh and great too!!! You have to go here no matter the occasion or non-occasion.
Fujiyama is one of the most delicious and fun experiences of my life! The service is kind and the atmosphere is calm. Overall, I would give it 5 stars.
Yum!. Good food, good service, and good selection. I'm especially a fan of their Monday and Tuesday discounted lunch specials. The ambiance at this location is much nicer than the Hwy 100 location. Try the Crispy Eel Roll!
My wife and I went in on a whim. Never really been a huge fan of sushi (but my only other experience was like a “convenience store” kind. The ambiance was really nice. Service was well above average. And the food…… was beautiful! Tasted and looked amazing. Will definitely be going back and I HIGHLY recommend!
The best sushi in the Milwaukee metro area. I highly recommend the sexy lady roll and the angry dragon roll! Great options for non sushi eaters also.
Great service and really good Sushi. I almost don't want to post this because Its one of the best kept secrets in Brookfield. Add it to the list and order the BMW roll.
Our server was pleasant and friendly. Reasonable pandemic precautions were evident during our visit. The meals that we chose were fresh, delicious and visually attractive, served promptly and priced in line with peers in the area.

This place was delicious. Picked up 2 diff salmon rolls 1 day and had to go back the next day. Got the Saki Maki and was 1 of the best rolls I've ever had!! Amazing. Im from out of town or id be coming back again.
So creative with their colors in their food! I ordered the Pink Lady roll, and it was as beautiful as it tasted. I wish I was less hungry so I would have remembered to take a picture (remembered on my second course, unagi sushi, when I realized this place definitely deserved a good review). I saw several other really cool looking items coming out of the kitchen.
Overall, the atmosphere, friendly staff, cleanliness, and food quality were all wonderful. Definitely worth a return visit.
