Best deli, meat counter, bakery and produce departments around. Very nice wine selection as well. Standard grocery store boxed items are more limited, and quite more expensive than comparable supermarkets.

I love Sendiks for the high quality meat and seafood departments and awesome butchers (always so helpful!). And the bakery is truly outstanding. But what inspired me to leave a long overdue review was this bouquet. My husband bought it for my for Valentine’s Day - which was 14 days ago - and it’s still looking so lovely. V Day has got to be the craziest day of the year for florists, so I never expect flowers to last very long so this takes the cake. Bravo, Sendiks

Store is always clean, nice staff. Great selection of produce and pre-made meals that you can take home to heat up. Lots of wine and an awesome deli.

Like the selection but the cashiers are the absolute worst here. I usually end up with some bratty kid or snobby old lady - today the latter forgot to put an expensive item in my bag and didn’t give me a receipt so now I’m just out the money. Joy.

Worst bakery ever. We ordered a cake for a kids birthday and they made the wrong size. We had to go back again to get a correct size and the cake tasted horrible every guest through the cake out. Called the next day to give a feedback and the bakery manager did not even care to listen the feedback. Very rude and poor customer service.

The meat counter guys went above and beyond helping me get a raw beef and onion platter for my Christmas party. I couldn't even get an answer from the meat counters at some competitors, but the Sendik's guys were great!

I'm not sure what changed but the quality and customer service has greatly improved. There's always help when you need it and almost all of the checkouts are open. I won't buy seafood anywhere else as I have had the freshest here. Sendiks ham is the best and the cold case always offers many options. And did I mention the prime rib? I guess it's better to have one store and make sure it's good, than to have 50 stores (red bag Sendiks!) at which the quality and selection shrinks with every new store opening. Thank you and keep the improvements coming.

I do love this store and go out of my way from south waukesha as they have a great meat, fish and produce section. New construction a nice touch. Some considers: Bathrooms. Personally would have took the funds from the coffee bar and invested into the restrooms. They are a real sore spot on an otherwise attractive store. Yellow mangos- seem to be the last store that gets them... they’re already in pick n save and I often find them at cermack almost year around. Sad that you’ve lost the upper shelf of the fish counter, was a fan of the seaweed salad but I guess I get that everyone is not.

When you advertise a product like in this weeks Ad that I get in my Milw J/S paper on Wednesday. You better make sure that you have to product and price that you advertise. I wasted a trip on Thursday March 2nd to come to your store to buy a few pounds of Salmon that was shown to be $6.99 a lb. Said Save $3.00. Come to the case and see a small sign saying.. Sorry.. its really $9.99 a lb. I ask if they would honor the ad.. the man behind the counter said NO. False advertising. Maybe a mistake, maybe not? Either way.. I lose. No crime committed at Sendiks on Capitol. Not coming back anytime soon.
