They are not as good as a New York bagel, but they are pretty close. Great menu, delicious food, friendly staff. The inside is always clean, gift items to buy off-the-shelf. The person in a previous review that rated a 1 and complained about a pizza burger is just ridiculous. This is not McDonald’s, can’t have it your way. Full disclosure, this place will always have a special spot in my heart. It’s where I had my second date and first kissed my now fiancé in the parking lot. They will always have a five star rating in my mind and heart.

Excellent bagel, great texture, fresh as possible and the line moved quickly without a hitch.
I'm from new haven home of lenders bagels and this is by far the best remaining bagel in the state of Connecticut.

I love Bagelman but this is pathetic. It's supposed to be an everything bagel with bacon and cream cheese but the cream cheese is almost non existent basically I just paid $5.50 for a bagel with 3 pieces of bacon. Do better Bagelman (Brookfield CT location)

Huge menu with everything from bagels to burgers, salads, muffins, wraps. Prices are reasonable and the young staff was kind and efficient.

They are always out of everything bagels and they don’t offer a single non-dairy cream cheese option. They are very lucky to be the only bagel joint in town because these are 2 good reasons to stop going!

There needs to be a setup with takeout items that are already paid. I’m not going to keep getting here if I have to wait 10 minutes for line when it’s already paid for. Set up a table/spot where customers can get there takeout food without waiting in line.

To start I've been going to this location for a few years on and off, not a regular but a few times a month at least. The staff and food were both usually on point, not perfect but a solid spot for the most part.
A few weeks back I set an online order for 8:15am (sandwich and iced coffee), got there on time and did not get my order until 8:40am.
Went yesterday and while the order was ontime both sandwiches were falling apart and far from what usually comes out of there.
But the big part of the 1 star is the fact that the digital menu has a hand written sign that prices are not accurate and you should ask before you order. Then the icing on the cake is the "I did this" sticker they have on the register pointing at the price...
Maybe try to update that digital board and tell people the actual cost of your products before they have to place the order...

I do not recommend the special breakfast bowl. $6 dollars and 25 mintues to make this, and the cheese is not even melted. They didn't even include all of the ingredients as was listed on the specials. They also forgot about this when our name was called, and told me it would be only 1 minute, when it took 15. My husband sandwich was room temperature and they didn't want to remake it. We were very disappointed. The staff was rude about it, and needs customer service retraining. I was so furious and wasted so much time that I didn't ask for my money back. They should have suggested some remedy, but they didn't.
UPDATED: Called and spoke with Betty who was very nice and helpful. She was able to remedy the situation.
