I love this place! My family and I have been going for as long as I can remember. Their food is fantastic, the staff becomes a second family and I love that it's BYOB. Try their Alfredo or chicken francese it is to die for! Don't forget it's cash only.
The food at Portobello's is always fresh and delicious!! I have been going here for years and my husband and I love their chicken oreganta and chicken florentine. Highly recommend this restaurant.
As always, everything was fantastic. Fried Calamari was awesome and their Minestrone is the best anywhere. And don't forget to have slice of the Tiramisu, also best around thick and flavorful.

Placed a take out order, ready to go in under 10 minutes. Nice seating area, service was quick. Great thin crust, parking was not bad. Not sure how it will be in the future. Pavement markings show future construction coming for sidewalk improvements..
I gave the Chicken Parmesan with Zetia a try, had to wait about 20min, was well worth the wait, came with a salad I wanted Vinegar and oil and some bread. This little restaurant is a jewel tucked away in the town. Give the restaurant a try if in the area.

My boyfriend grew up in Brookfield and absolutely raved about this place being one of his favorite childhood memories. We decided to make the trip to visit Portobello which was over an hour drive for us!
As a Connecticut native I can confidently say this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Connecticut. The food was absolutely incredible and (everything, literally) was very well prepared and made in house.
The owners are incredibly friendly, kind, and very personable. They made the experience even more better.
