Today was our first visit to Down The Hatch. The view was great. Food was pretty good, but my buffalo chicken salad was small. Beware the prices of the drinks! No wonder they don't list them anywhere.

I was pleasantly surprised by Down the Hatch. We were visiting the area from out of state and our hosts took us to DtH for lunch while out boating on Candlewood Lake. The food was very good and the outdoor deck was an excellent place to have a bite. It was nice to step off the boat and be there.

The attitudes at this place is ridiculous. I went this past summer and forgot to write a review because I knew that I would NEVER come back. Nice view but that’s it. As some of the other reviews stated my waiter took the cash as a tip and I gave him extra money to break my bigger bills. So I left hi

An awesome and fun restaurant that sits directly on the water. Beautiful views of Candlewood Lake. There were ducks, carp, ducklings and geese all a few feet away in the water. An amazing, laid back outdoor patio dining experience. Impress your friends with this large, hidden gem.
