Good, attentive service. Fast delivery on our food. Priced well, large margaritas. Decent food quality. We'd return if in the area.

Fajitas for two was enough for four meals. Excellent quality and value. Nice ambience. You won't regret eating here unless you don't like Mexican food.

Really great experience here, I appreciated nice clean restaurant. The food was really good and the waiters attentive. I had the chicken taco salad with a side of rice and beans and the chips and salsa was awesome!

Great food. Very festive atmosphere. Servers all speak Spanish to aid in the authentic atmosphere. My new favorite Mexican food restaurant.

I've eaten here a few times over the past few years and this time was by far the worst. Really didn't like the beans or rice, they tasted awful and chicken wasn't all that good except for in the chicken nachos dish

Not the first time here....not the first time my food was less than enjoyable.

Never did I, the grandson of a Mexican immigrant who spent most of his life enjoying the best Mexican hole-in-the-wall joints in Los Angeles, think I'd be writing a review for great Mexican food found in Brookfield, Missouri. Driving back from a long day in Marceline - just up the road, we were starving and decided to try the steakhouse advertising itself on the highway road sign. Unfortunately, after driving up and down the main drag, twice, we could not locate that restaurant. What we did notice on an early Sunday evening was a funky looking Mexican restaurant with an absolutely packed parking lot. Usually a good sign, but this was a Mexican restaurant in "the middle," surrounded by thousands of acres of cornfields and what we assumed were very mid-American tastes. Walking in we saw a wonderful sight - a restaurant that looked like it tele-ported from East L.A - really GREAT décor and music, which always sets the mood. The place was packed with full tables of local families enjoying one another's company and visiting with neighbors from table to table. Charming. The food, while not the best I've ever had, certainly holds its own. Great rice (probably the very best I've ever tasted and I will be changing my own, already delicious Mexican rice recipe to attempt to come closer to this wonderful dish); top of the heap enchilada (the chef knows their sauces) and one of the best tamales I've ever enjoyed - the masa was just plain creamy. The chips? Fantastic, hot, just out of the fryer masterpieces. Liking things a bit more on the flavorful and spicy side I had to spike my salsa with hot sauce, salt and pepper. The guacamole was fresh and well made, but lacked flavor and needed a shot of lime and salt (garlic would have put it on the right track, but alas, none was available). Had it not been for these two disappointments, I would have had no choice but to give this surprising little gem of a place five solid stars (and I do keep in mind that they are catering to a pallet that was not raised in a household and city filled with great Mexican cooking). The next time you find yourself visiting Walt Disney's wonderful little hometown, do yourself a favor and drive down the highway to enjoy a great Mexican dinner - tell them Walt sent you.

UPDATE: Much better 2nd time! Now I'll give it 4 stars!
I really wanted to like this place but I didn't. After living in Texas for 35+ years, I like Mexican food to have some heat. I knew this place wouldn't have the Tex-Mex that I'm used to but I wanted it to taste good - it fell far short. The chips & sweat tea were good; the picante sauce had no cilantro or heat but it was ok. The service was very good - the only saving grace. My husband & I had the Enchiladas Supremas - the chicken was tough and in big chunks; the ground beef didn't taste seasoned, the refried bean enchilada had quite a different flavor than normal; & my husband's cheese enchilada was cold. There were no onions, no jalapenas, no heat or seasoning to the dish. The decor is unfortunately stereotypical Mexican restaurant themed - bright colors, kitschy. I really wanted to like the food - but unless this was just an "off" day for the cook, we probably won't be back.

Usually happy with service but tonight our chips were nothing but crumbs, waiter never came back to see how we were doing, we had to go up to counter to ask for refill. I realize waiters/waitresses can be very busy at times but they need to learn to be more observant of their customer's needs.

Some days are better than others. Sometimes service isn't the best, they forget our cheese dip, or are slow to get our orders. Their hours say til 10:30 on weekends but sometimes the kitchen closes before 10! But, as I said some days are better than others.

Their chicken fajitas are awesome! And they have some of the best salsa around.

Usually I LOVE coming here. We've had a few experiences where things were a little "off" but never anything bad enough to keep us from going back. Tonight I was pretty upset. I didn't get off work until 9:30 and I know they close at 10 so I decided I would call in a carry-out order since it would be faster than dining in. I call in and the person who answered the phone was rude and very short with me. She said my order would be ready in 5 minutes. I got there in 10 minutes and the place was closed up. 20 minutes early. I understand closing early but 20 minutes early when you know you have someone coming in for an order? A little messed up. Doesn't help that I'm pregnant and ALL I WANTED was Mexican for dinner. I'll still go in of course, as their food is amazing, but tonight I was NOT impressed.

I think the quality of service and food has gone down
