This place was excellent. We had the grass fed hamburgers, with homemade buns made from the bakery near by. The French fries were great. The service was excellent. I highly recommend eating here you won't be disappointed.

Excellent selection of pub food. The burgers are great and you've got to try the cheese curds! Great beer selection to from local breweries. This is one of our top choices to eat at in Brookings.

Been here about 4 times now. Excellent food each time. Good service, very helpful waitress. Have not had to wait to long for either service or food. Tried some spicy cheese curds, yes, very good. Was hoping to get some clam chowder, but not available today. It is good. Good menu, try it sometime. You'll enjoy the visit. Good beers from different places also.

Our favorite spot on the coast for a yummy meal. They are quick and we have never been disappointed when we go. The best stuffed baked potato!

Urbanspoon did not steer me wrong this time, I was driving through town and wanted a bite to eat and was very very happy with the food. I got the burger with habanero cheese and habanero sauce, it hit every taste bud! It was amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone who loves a good burger!!

Good food, too expensive. Their onion rings are the best! The food is good, if you don't mind waiting for it. The restaurant is small, but the atmosphere is nice.

WOW.. impressed. Have worked at various high quality burger/beer pubs in the past so it takes a lot to get me excited as a patron, but the Vista very much exceeded any expectations I had for a pub in Brookings.. no question... I actually can't believe the southern coast has a spot like this. Seemed like extremely high quality, fresh ingredients, at a very good price. I would have paid more, but didn't have to. Sweet deal. Service was spot on too. Do it.

This place is awesome. What's not to like about craft brews on-tap and the best burgers on the coast? My burger with sautéed onions and mushrooms with Rogue Creamery blue cheese could be the best burger I've consumed. Best of all, I asked for it to be medium-done and I was served an actual medium-done burger. The only down side is the parking situation. Parking is limited and the chinese place next door apparently doesn't like its successful neighbor and will tow any cars that stray into their lot. It doesn't matter though, I'll walk a long way to get to The Vista Pub.

Nice eve. This is an awesome place, great fresh food and nice selections in everything, has some specials and a good local feel! It can be busy so plan ahead, it took a while befere we were noticed and served but the great live music helped.

Arguably, the best burger on the Oregon Coast. This burger joint in Bookings has an eclectic decor, friendly owner and staff, great selection of Oregon craft beers and wine and is filled with friendly locals. The description of the huge 1/3 pound burgers is as follows "our flavorful char-broiled burgers are made from locally raised, grass-fed Hastings Natural Beef. We add fresh local produce, Rumiano or Rogue Creamer Cheese, and fresh locally baked buns.". The burgers are served with fresh cut fries or you can substitute their thick cut beer battered onion rings for $1 more. You have the option to choose grilled chicken breast, grilled portabella or a garden burger if you don't want beef. Create your favorite burger with the several add-ons available. I went with the burger, medium well, with bacon, sautéed onions, Rogue Creamery Blue Cheese and topped with their house aioli made with red onion and sweet pickle relish. I tried a few samples of the Oregon craft brews on tap and went with a Vortex IPA brewed by Ft. George in Astoria, OR. Great beer! The bun was slightly toasted, the burger cooked to perfection and the house aioli was tasty. One of the better burgers that I've had. The fresh cut fries were top notch as well. I enjoyed Vista so much that ate their again the next next night. It was hard not to order the burger again, but I went with their nightly special - grilled albacore tuna brushed with teriyaki and their house aioli and freshly made clam chowder. Superb grilled fish sandwich and chowder. From the looks of the food coming across the bar, everything on the menu, including the salads, sammies, wings, panko bread chicken fingers and thick cut beer battered onion rings looked delicious. If your ever on the beautiful Oregon Coast, near Brookings, I highly recommend you stop by Vista Pub for a burger and a brew.

Worth the drive!!!. Five of my girlfriends and I went to the vista Pub today. It was NOT where we planned to go...but coming out of the antique store next door, we smelled hamburgers...hamburgers we could NOT pass up. We went in, 6 of us split 3 hamburgers. My buddy Jake and I split a burger, adding sauteed onions and blue cheese... plus we all split an order of onion rings. Oh my gosh...it could not have been any better... I can drive there in about 2 hours (I live in Northern California) and would make a day trip to go up there and eat again! I tasted their wheat beer (SO GOOD!) but didn't drink one since I was one of the drivers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Vista Pub Quenches Thirst. This is the coolest place between Crescent City and Eugene. In the desert of average bars and beer, the Vista offers a great tap list friendly folks, and good food. I'm not sure how the term vista relates but who cares when the beer is so damned good.
By the way, the wood used to make the bars and tables shows off someone's artistry and wood's undeniable appeal.

Sometimes man just needs big juicy hunk of meat and a slab of chocolate cake. Thank you, Vista Pub.

He always has the BLT. Packed with savory, thick bacon, green leaf lettuce and tomato, it never disappoints. Avocado is available for a little extra. The Buffalo Blue salad is delicious! Bring a big appetite because it fills the plate. Tonight we have guitar music, very enjoyable. On a side note, their food is locally sourced, with the leftovers composted and recycled whenever possible. There is limited lot parking. Totally worth walking to eat there.

Cute Pub and atmosphere. Nice food variety and good portions. The burgers were fantastic but hard to pick up and eat. Too wet and slippery. They should stack it with the lettuce on the bottom bun, the tomato, then meat etc with the spread on the top bun. Their spread is quite tasty too. I had to use a fork and knife and basically couldn't eat the bun. Would definitely go back. Very nice service too. We don't drink so can't review the bar aspect.

We had a wonderful time at the Vista Pub! Quirky art and decor, wonderful service from the staff, clever menu and excellent delivery on the food as it had been described, our meal was a complete pleasure and next time we are in Brookings we will make it our first stop!

This was our second time here and we enjoyed the great service, live music and the fact they offer a gluten free burger bun. Generous serving of fries and excellent burger.

This hole-in-the-wall had the best food of any stops I've made along the coast. The service and environment were friendly and welcoming, as were the waitstaff. I was able to sample a few beers and decided on Laurelwood's Laurelweizen brewed with agave which was terrific. One of the specials was a fried zucchini which was excellent and the Rueben sandwich was one of the best I've had; creating a rye swirl bun with give is a huge upgrade for this sandwich over the normal dry and toasty texture.

Always great beer, food and especially onion rings. Went today, got their 1/3 pound burger with cheddar, with onion rings. Was fantastic. Only downside was I asked for medium and they overcooked the burger to well done, but the burger still had amazing flavor. Been coming here for years, would easily recommend to anyone. Great service, crowd is pretty family friendly, food is great.

Great little place with awesome food. My wife and i stopped in on our way to our hotel. The clam chowder was fantastic!!! So were the burgers!! Our server at the bar was very friendly and prompt. I only give it 4 stars because they have very little parking and a small beer selection.

Neat small pub! Clean. Great service! My wife and I had the baked potato. Very good!!! A meal all on its own! Daughter had the chicken strips! Plenty of strips and good fries for leftovers! Parking in front is a little tricky. Bar menu looks great! Wish I was coming back soon. “Coldest beer in town lager” was very good!!! Recycle friendly!

Little hole in the wall, didn't look like much but we were hungry. Smelled wonderful outside, go inside to find a small amount of seating, wonderful jazz & some fantastic food!! Cranberry turkey sandwich was Thanksgiving in a bun along with great onion rings. Chicken strips were hand breaded, meaty, juicy & flavorful along with big hand cut fries. Don't pass by this place, it's worth waiting for a table!

Stopped in on my way through town after camping for the weekend. Immediately had someone at the bar acknowledge me. I asked about dogs on the patio and they said absolutely. Went to the patio with my dog and we were the only ones there, which normally means you get forgotten about but the staff was great. Got my drinks fast, food fast, they came back and checked on me in a timely fashion, and the food was delicious. I also loved the fact that they recycle, compost, and turn their fry oil into biodiesel. Highly recommend if you're in town!
