In its new building, recently opened, this Pizza Ranch has improved greatly. Pizza selection rotates often which is great, but on off hours it can be a bit cool and slow to be restocked. The game room they added is great for kids, but not as cheap as arcades used to be. A couple of guaranteed win games definitely help kids go home happy though. Games do also rotate on occasion which is a big bonus for keeping the kids wanting to go back.
Excellent experience in comparison to Sioux Falls Pizza Ranch. They just take a bit longer refilling food. If you think the ice cream is a good idea, just be warned that they have the smallest cups I have ever seen just to get ice cream at one of these locations is my little bit of criticism.
I would like to see just a little bit more determination towards a couple things.
Other than that, I like the new Pizza Ranch in Brookings and I would highly recommend going for the family eating experience.
So glad brookings has a pizza ranch again! Take out quality is just as good as in store buffet. We got the meal deal with a large pizza, cheesy ranch sticks with marinara sauce and a mini dessert pizza. Quick, easy ordering on the app with curbside option. Love how they have stuffed crust now too.
Update 8/5/21- we are back in the area and had to stop here. As always, place was clean, food was good and staff was friendly. Shut out to Ms. Esther... she was professional, friendly, nice. :) . We will be back when we're in the area again!
This is our second pizza ranch we've visited this year. This location was much nicer, it's the little details that made the difference. There was a potato soup, ice cream, plastic bibs for babies, even the restroom had extra amenities. Of course the food was good and staff was friendly.
Very nice new building. But whoever designed the food line layout should be fired. Very small are with only 1 side for everything. You didnt know where to start. People were about bumping in to each other. And the walkways between food area and seating was too narrow. Food was good. Children's arcade area is at least 3x larger than food area.
