Michael's was phenomenal! The service was swift and attentive, the food was very good and filling. It was FANTASTIC. There was someone playing the piano as well, and it just added to the warm comfort and cozy feeling. There were a lot of people, but it wasn't too bad. I will say it's better to reserve a table! This place is very popular, and seats get filled fast. I went on a Sunday night around 7:00PM, and it was nearly a full house.
It boggles my mind I've been passing this place for years, and never realized how amazing a place it is! I highly recommend! Make those reservations!
It can be a bit pricey mind you, but for the quality and amount of food you get? Worth every penny!
The eggplant parmigiana, the butternut squash soup, the cocktail, and the bread were great. There were lots of vegetarian options, and they were accomodating. I love how festive the decor is especially inside the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was very nice here
First time here last night, and this place did not disappoint!! Great service, attentive staff, & amazing food!! Pre app bread & antipasta, our apps were Polenta & roasted mushrooms with truffle oil drizzle and bacon wrapped scallops. Dinner was a tomahawk steak for 2, which came with 3 sides, fresh sautéed spinach, potatoes with cubed bacon pieces, and sautéed mushrooms & onions.
Dessert was Italian cheesecake and warm walnut apple crumble. So delicious!!!
This was my first time at Michaels (grew up in Queens) and it is my favorite places for Italian food. The atmosphere is classic and old school. The service is professional and polite.
The food was phenomenal and cooked to perfection. The serving sizes are perfect. We ordered a number of things
Lobster Bisque creamy and tasty
Eggplant Rollatina was the best I have ever eaten
Perfectly cooked al dente spaghetti with tomato and basil sauce.
Lasagna with a nice thin layers of saucy cheesiness
Chicken Cardinale nice and tender chicken with rich and savory sauce
Great drink menu and fabulous wine selection. Try the Biscotti Martini. You will not be disappointed
Had a phenomenal delivery experience, now I know I have to have it in person too! Ordered gnocchi bolognese and it was fabulous. Came with a ton of extras (chunks of parm, grated parm, olives, extra sauce, focaccia and a baguette!) I loved the gnocchi. Super tender, seemingly homemade, rustic gnocchi with a perfect simmered-all-day-tasting sauce. Perfect serving size for two with a side, or for just one big and greedy girl. I feel like I can taste every ingredient in the sauce. I didn’t know that such classic, old school Brooklyn Italian could be found on Uber eats.
It's a beautiful family atmosphere. The food is phenomenal and the portions are gigantic!
An old-school Italian restaurant with a traditional vibe featuring white linen tablecloths and waiters in suits. The artichoke salad and fish were notable highlights, and the tiramisu and limoncello sorbet were a great way to end the meal.
This was my first visit and this place was amazing. The service was impeccable (Enzo is the absolute best) the food was out of this world

Fantastic on all counts! This place was recommended to me, so I decided to try it out. Upon entering, the decor and atmosphere is classy, elegant and old school. There was a piano player playing music, which elevated the vibe as well. I liked how all the staff were nicely dressed, too. Everything we had from beginning to end was fantastic...we had the baked clams, eggplant rollatini, shrimp oreganata, shrimp parmesan, the napoleon and profiteroles, and glasses of white and red wine. Overall, the dining experience was outstanding, with the food being absolutely amazing. This place is one of the best for Italian food in Brooklyn, every dish was fresh, delicious, and on point. The desserts were incredible. I will definitely be returning here, this place is a must try!
Top notch restaurant the was amazing so delicious
Wonderful food! Wonderful experience have dinner here.
Very elegant restaurant. The live music and general appearance of the inside made me think I was in the movie Godfather. It really is an authentic Italian restaurant. Food was very delicious and service was second to none. Will definitely come back again. Only complaint is that my pasta sauce was just a little too salty.
What a hidden gem. I shouldn’t even write. Review because this place is so good and I don’t wanna spread the word. They are super busy as it is and if you don’t call early enough. Your waiting till next week to get an RSVP. I have driving by this place for more then 20 years and never decided to eat there. A friend of mine recommended it, so I decided after 20 years it’s enough. Let’s try it out. Right away your greeted by gentlemen that are dressed to the 9’s. The place looks like an old school Italian restaurant. Live piano player blasting away music. From the smell and ambiance, you know you’re in the right place. First visit it was 3 of us. We got lucky and landed a table by the bar. Table was small but we were happy to even get seated. We looked over the menu on our phones and decided to break down our dinner into 4 courses. For starters we had the tomato burrita salad. Very good very fresh. Ohh before that they load the table with quick little bites like parmigiana cheese, marinated olives , 4 different types of bread and whipped butter. After the salad we had the fried calamari. Very very fresh and taste was very satisfying. Now we move on to the pasta part of our dinner. We went with the wild mushroom pasta. WoW. Now that’s an impressive pasta. It’s right away jumps to the must order every time here. We also had the lobster crepe. Another must order every time here and anytime you even drive by because this dish right here, will have you licking the plate clean. Now I understand why all the bread duh. After that part of the meal. We had the osso bucco. another amazing dish but I can’t keep ordering the same this every time I come here it there were all amazing. So amazing that I came back a week later with my parents and order more more food that was also amazing. The clams, oysters tomato basil pasta. Everything delicious. So delicious that I’m upset that I missed opportunities eating here for the past 20 years. SMH. But I’ll make it up. Amazing place. A must try and must come back over and over and over.
Came with the family and everyone was very polite n professional. The food was good and the restaurant feels formal but still family friendly. I even though I brought my 2yr old at the time and where still very accommodating I feel like some restaurants don’t like when children are brought, but I never had that feeling when I was there, which is always welcoming to a new mother. Will definitely be going again depending on penne with vodka sauce, was amazing and my daughter loves it as well.
Michael's is our go to place. Food is great... John the server...is fantastic.... All around a great place to go.... I highly recommend Michaels. Pictures are, Veal Parmesan, cheese ravioli, baked cheese ravioli with no sauce. All were delicious!!!!

Came here for my 5 year anniversary. The place was recommended from a few friends at work. Couldn't of been happier with the food and the service. The atmosphere reminded of Italian restaurants from years past. The ambiance was great and the cocktails were perfect.
I had a pork chop with cherry peppers and my friends who joined had the Lobster fra diavola. Amazing all around including the appetizers. Cant wait to come back
