A wonderful combination of phenomenal taste and elaborately designed atmosphere made our anniversary dinner exceptional.
Amazing sake collection is definitely off the chain. Every single plate is artfully well prepared not to mention how delicious they are.
Seating layout is all private booths seper
The food is delicious! The chicken dish was especially good. The dashi broth in the US on was very flavorful. The homemade tofu is silky. The chocolate pudding and black sesame ice cream were good but not at the same level as the savory dishes. Our waiter was hard to understand and couldn't seem
Can’t say enough AMAZING things about this place - some of the best quality food we’ve had in a while. It’s a great experience too - really felt like private dining. The staff is friendly and you can tell the kitchen takes pride in the ingredients they use. I did the vegetarian tasting menu and my b
Good food and an interesting atmosphere. The booths and seating arrangement is a bit cramped. Which is good for an intimate date experience, bad if you're fat. The tasters menu was very decent, although when me and my date both expressed a dislike for salmon caviar in one of the dishes, they still g
I tried the food a la carte and left very happy. The silky tofu is to die for, but everything was delicious. The portions were the right size for me to try 4 options and get full (and then some). All the seating is in booths with a privacy screen, but they aren't fully enclosed.
We tried its winter tasting menu and it was great. The 8 course tasting menu costs 75 dollar per person, with a 7 fixed dishes and 1 desert that you can choose from 4 options. The environment is cozy but a little tight. It has privacy but the seat is small. A good place for romantic dating since you
Not your typical omakase. Some bits were very tasty, some were not very impressive. Pics are from my experience March 2019 and menu changes regularly.
Very intimate, very private dining experience. Not accessible, restaurant has very uneven flooring with dark lighting but the private booths are a pl
Love the interior of this place! Each seating gives lots of privacy with the blinds down and the servers lifts it up only when serving the food and asking for your orders. There's a button you can press on the table to grab their attention as well. We did their omakase set menu and the food was pret
Amazing food. Hard to find a better Japanese experience at that price. We had the tasting menu and every dish was truly amazing—even compared by Japanese standards.
To the person who complained about the dishes not being warm enough, you should maybe do yourself a favor and consider to avoid Japan
Had their winter 2019 omakase tasting menu. Every dish was excellent, but I especially loved the ankimo tempura and the seared cod. Added a rock shrimp tempura a la carte that was also delightful. The inside booth seating felt like it came straight out of Japan.
Had such an excellent anniversary experience here. Excellent customer service, delicious food options and a romantic setting made for an incredible experience. Totally recommend if you have over $100 to spend and want a special experience. The filet mignon was so tender and high quality. Potato moch
One of my favorite spots in all of NYC. This is a most go. Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing atmosphere. Treat yo self and get an amazing meal here that you’ll be thinking about for months after.
Amazing food, attentive service and ambience that is unique. Subtle, romantic but not cheesey. Tried the tasting menu and loved every bit of it. They go that one extra mile to make everything memorable.
Only con was I feel they can pay a little attention to dusting around and getting rid of stains
Delicious omakase at Zenkichi in Brooklyn that was creative and attentive to detail. Too many dishes to mention them all but the home made tofu, the fig with tofu and marscapone sauce, the raw shrimp with a citrus sauce were some of the standouts. The sashimi was also fresh and excellent quality. W
Awesome. Didn't get the prefix menu went with the a la carte instead. With the 7 items we got we were stuffed. Between the filet mignon, cod, mochi, lamb, rice balls, and the frozen mousse it was hard to pick favorites. All together without drinks that came up to about 100. The biggest wow factor wa
Loved the Omakase experience! The cod and soft shell crab are out of this world. Great pork Shabu-shabu and tofu cream cheese. The environment is so cool and private, great for dates! Definitely coming back!
Had a really lovely anniversary dinner here. Did the tasting menu and a sake flight. Lovely atmosphere and privacy, service was awesome and food was so so tasty.
Outstanding! Thanks for the low rent in Brooklyn, Zenkichi is able to present such astounding Omakase menu at this price $75. This 8 course omakase menu is designed perfectly and able to show some of the essences of authentic Japanese cuisine.
Great atmosphere, great service and really flavorful food. Pretty good sake selection. Great place to try out Japanese flavors in vegetarian food.
