Amazing sausages and brats I've had in a long long time! So juicy and flavorful. Sadly they will be closing this November instead of relocating elsewhere. It's a shame since the food was amazing and nice to get a drink as well to unwind. Bar area was unpretentious and relaxing. Dining area simple and lively environment. Just a fun atmosphere. Servers so friendly and fun to talk to. Preferred this over Frankie's next door (which is expanding into this location), but Whatcha gonna do folks. Take time to eat here one last time before it's gone!

Found this place while walking in Brooklyn. It had a nice look to it from the outside so I stopped in for a burger. Everyone was nice from the person at the door to the bartender to the waiters. Burger was excellent and they had good beer on tap. Will stop by again next time I'm in the area.

A pretty nice restaurant with good food - the bratwurst, duck liver and burger were all delicious. It is a bit expensive for the location and what they offer. They're somewhat marginal on kid-friendliness. (They asked us to keep a stroller outside.) If you're in the neighborhood, it's a good splurge.

Intimate dining area is well lit for a romantic evening, but the space can get noisy at night. The crispy hen is delicious and the beer is generally local.

Perfect cocktails and meat and beer in one of the most cinematic looking restaurants anywhere. Great service also feels like a more genteel age.

Great service. Loved the atmosphere even though the lighting may seem a little dark. But it oh so romantic. We also had the lemon meringue pie. It was absolutely amazing!! The food is worth the price. It's a little pricy but it's worth it for the food. Great place to bring friends or for your special some. I also enjoyed the music. All around great place.

Delicious German-inspired sausage boards are a real stand out, but try any specials they may have. Great wine list, too. They were very accommodating with our group with three kids, which is unusual for such a swanky place.

Delicious food, fancy wine, and cozy decor. Perfect for a date night or an evening out with friends! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. Even though our online reservation got messed up (should have been for 3 people, but they said it was only made for 2), the host made it work for us and found us a perfect little table. Merci!

I was visiting friends in NYC for a weekend, and we decided to go here for dinner on Saturday when we learned about the very long wait at Ugly Baby. I’m glad we did. The service was very attentive and accommodating, and appetizers and mains both came out quickly, especially considering it was fairly busy. My lamb ribs were fantastic. The cocktail I chose wasn’t perfectly to my taste, but I ordered a second so no big complaint there. There was only one real wrinkle all night, where we were charged for a bottle of wine instead of the 2 glasses the table collectively ordered. My fault for not checking the bill, and my card was refunded a few days later after my friend called to correct, so no harm done. Also, the bathroom had a little too much graffiti for such a nice place, but I understand that’s difficult to deal with, especially in the city.

Great meal with my wife for date night. Had a nice table in the back. My steak frites was prepared perfectly and tasted awesome. Lemon meringue pie for desert - yum! Service was good if a little reserved. Felt a somewhat stiff and formal for the relaxed atmosphere. Maybe he was having a bad day. In any event, it didn't impact the evening.

Looks like an old pub but it's more than that. The beer and bloody Mary's were great. The food was really really good. I had the farmer's breakfast and it was amazing. We were a party of 5 and every meal was very good. It was my first time here but I will definitely be back.

Nice decor, located on a corner. Waitress was great. I got the Spinach Eggs Benedict which was wonderful with a nice hollandaise. Service was a little slow but it worked out as it gave us time to visit. This was on Memorial Day at 1:00 pm. Steakwas perfectly cooked. Another friend got the pot pie, it was okay

I finally went to this place recently, after hearing friends rave about it for months. It did not disappoint. We started with oysters, 3 different kinds, which were all done to perfection. Then I had a large steak (38oz split between 2 people), which is quite possibly the best steak I have ever had. I combined it with their french fries, which are delicious though not anything unique. We topped off the meal with their chocolate mousse, which if you like chocolate mousse you MUST have it. We drank beers the whole time, mostly local brews. They have their own special Brooklyn Brewery ale, which was amazing and is recommended. I'll be back.
