I had never been to Coney Island before, but somehow it felt nostalgic. Waited in line for a classic Nathan’s hot dog. They menu actually had a lot of options, but I went for the classic. The best part is finding a shady spot at a picnic table and enjoying your hot dog in this atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
Title: A Classic Bite at Coney Island's Icon
Review:
On a sweltering summer, my wife and I visited Nathan's Famous Boardwalk Stall at 1205 Riegelmann Boardwalk in Coney Island. The stall was crowded, but we only had to wait a few minutes to order.
We ordered the legendary hot dogs, crispy onion rings, and cheesy fries. The hot dogs were delicious, and the onion rings and fries were perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and efficient.
Overall, we had a great experience at Nathan's Famous Boardwalk Stall. The food was delicious, the service was good, and the prices were reasonable. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Coney Island.
The dog was good and exactly what u would expect. The shake was thick and good. The fries were underwhelming, I was expecting a crunchy-er fry. That kinda let me down, especially pairing with such a good dog.
You kind of have to get a hotdog at Nathan's to have the full Coney Island experience. We both got hotdogs and some onion rings. Food was great, and sitting outside watching the seagulls try to get french fries was great amusement. Overall, a great Coney Island staple that you have to try just once.
Can’t beat a great dog! They are classic for a reason. Not really a 🌭 eater generally, but when in Rome… the boardwalk location is iconic & right where you want to be - by the beach!! Delicious chili cheese dog with a cold Coney 🍺 Island brew. Expensive but it’s NYC.
Coming from Chicago, visiting the big apple, people mention to me that I had to try the famous hotdogs from Coney Island. So I hopped on a train and travel all the way to to famous Boardwalk. The hot dogs served at Nathan's Famous are renowned for their delicious flavor and quality. Made from high-quality beef and cooked to perfection, these hot dogs are juicy and flavorful. They are served on a soft and fluffy bun, which complements the hot dog's texture and taste. You can add toppings such as mustard, sauerkraut, onions, and chili to customize your hot dog to your liking. But for me, I just want to try a simple hot dog with mustard and ketchup. The atmosphere at Nathan's Famous is also worth mentioning. Located on the boardwalk of Coney Island, the restaurant has a nostalgic feel that takes you back to the early days of American fast food. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience of dining at Nathan's Famous. In addition to hot dogs, Nathan's Famous also serves other menu items such as hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, and seafood options. However, the hot dogs are undoubtedly the star of the show, and you won't want to miss them. If you're looking for a classic American dining experience, Nathan's Famous is the place to go. The hot dogs are a must-try, and the atmosphere adds to the overall charm of the restaurant. It's no wonder that Nathan's Famous has become a staple of American food culture and a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Coney Island.
Overall of course pretty good BUT stoopid prices. These dogs are nothing at all special; you pay for the “experience” and the Coney Island atmosphere is solid 5-star!
If you are visiting Coney Island Beach and Boardwalk, then you have to try Nathan's, which is well known for their hot dogs. My favorite is Chilly Cheese Dog, then walks a few miles to digest it well. 😀
Great place to visit in early fall or spring (non tourist season. The hotdogs are good and the view is great. Coney Island itself was pretty much a ghost town in October but I wasn’t here for the rides. Just Nathans’s and the pier
The hot dog 🌭 was delicious, worth to try and the price for the food was cheap
An awesome stop on the boardwalk. Historically famous and popular. Worthwhile if it's your first time there to get a dog. Fast and friendly servers are happy to help.
