My girlfriend's favorite sushi spot did not disappoint. We really wanted to treat ourselves so we ordered a good amount of food. The pork belly with wasabi cream was so savory and delicate. Thoughtful presentation and the cilantro added some nice peppery flavor to every bite. We then had the ika yaki - sauteed squid with ginger soy sauge and spicy mayo. She was beside herself with this dish and I have to agree. Really enjoyed the spicy mayo in combination with the ginger soy sauce. It was a touch above mildly spicy but went so well with the chewy squid. The vegetable gyoza was unlike any I had before. So melt in your mouth. Not chewy or doughy whatsoever. Again, the presentation was awesome. The lighting wasn't ideal, so my picture doesn't do it justice, but I loved the taste. I'm a big fan of cured mackerel, so I had to try the seared shime saba. I'm not sure the sear elevated the mackerel in any way, but I appreciated the idea. Still really enjoyed this. The sushi bombs, both bluefin oo toro and spicy una, were delicious. Not pictured was the miso soup with enoki mushrooms and tofu. Straight forward but enjoyable all the same. After everything, we only spent around $100. It was the perfect amount of food, though, and I can't wait to go back and try other dishes from Bozu.

A great stop to enjoy some quality Japanese food! Would highly recommend the pork gyoza, pork Betty, and party bomb. Cocktails were decently priced too.

Bozu was an extraordinary experience. Arriving 40 min before close, the staff was extremely welcoming, patient and kind. We ordered quite alot (4 sushi bombs, 3 sushi’s, Japanese curry entree, appetizer and dessert), yet not once did they rush us. We enjoyed every minute of our time at Bozu. The food is melt in your mouth incredible! The drinks are tasty and made with care. I still dream of the choc mousse dessert days later. It’s a quaint street so one can enjoy peaceful moments and savor the delightful treats. Thank you for a truly beautiful summer bk experience ❤️

A very nice japanese restaurant. It was super crowded but the service was still super quick. Very good food. Unfortunately the edamame was cold and tasted as it had stayed for a long time.

Bozu is a gem of a Japanese restaurant. The unassuming facade hides a cosy red and dark wood restaurant inside. We sat at the bar with the friendly staff at hand. The food is delicious. We had veg gyoza, fried brussel sprouts, edamame, veg katsu curry, tuna sushi rolls and salmon bombs. The sushi was freshly made in view behind the bar. All the food was delicious. The gyoza in particular came out in a frying pan fresh out of the oven. Never had them like that before. Little parcels to peel out of the pan. Also had the ginger-yuzu cold tea which was very moreish. Definitely check this place out!

Incredibly flavorful dishes. Like other reviews suggest, you must try the pork belly dish - which for $12 - is very worth it. I also got the yellowtail toro (there are 3 kinds) and the fish was perfect.

Super Cute spot. Busy on a Friday night but not a long wait. Great attentive staff. Rolls were good. The tako appetizer was not mind blowing. Would like to try the sushi bombs next time.

Great location, as soon as you walk in make sure to put yourself on the waiting list, they will text you when your table is ready. This gives you an opportunity to check out another place like a bar to grab a drink. The food at Bozu is really good. Almost everything just melts in your mouth. The sale was also very good. Service was great, not too over bearing and the correct amount of attentive.

I come here from Manhattan for their sushi bombs! Absolutely delicious very time! Also discovered a Bk born unfiltered sake “Nigori Kato Sake Wosrks”, highly recommended if you like it unfiltered.

I love Bozu. I have the best memories here celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and just fun times. The food is always top notch and always high quality. Truly worth stopping by. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is the portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller as the price remains the same. The sushi bombs use to be so huge when we first went there years ago. Before the pandemic, we realized that the size was smaller but still a nice size for the price. We just ordered take out, and the sushi bombs are half the size of the ones we remember from before the pandemic and 25% of the size from the ones we ate before that. I know the pandemic has put lots of constraints on local businesses and costs are going. I personally wouldn’t mind paying a few more dollars to get the larger size we were use to. But paying the same price for bite size pieces of sushi bombs to me leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Hope they increase the value as things start improving.

Go for the delicious food! The space itself is starting to feel a little tired and maybe in need of a refresh. We sat at the bar and the server was great. The place was super busy for a Monday night and they probably needed more people working. The sushi comes with a fun tray of mild, medium, and hot premixed soy sauce & wasabi. Also, they have a weirdly excellent chocolate mousse here.

This place is amazing! The seaweed salad was unlike any I have had before. Lots of hijiki this salad is more flavorful and full bodied. The salad is more dark green, with pink and white seaweed too. I'm used to the sweet, neon green seaweed salad from most sushi and poké planes. This was something very different. The sushi bombs are just that, the bomb! (I know, sorry). A dab of rice with high quality fish or veggies on top. We ordered all the gluten free bombs along with gluten free spot sauce and I was in gluten free heaven. The bluefin toro was my favorite with the McLow and Mexican bombs just behind it. Paired with a crisp fruity sake, I floated out on a Bozu cloud. So delicious and nutritious. You must needs eat from here

Cool place, good food, great price. Mini burgers were surprisingly delicious. Not a whole lot of sushi options but more than enough variety to leave content. Worth checking out.
