Faros - Brooklyn - Photo album

Every dish was well made and tasty. House red wise also paired just fine. Visited on a Sunday afternoon after a day in the park and was so pleased with the food and service. Had this spinach starter followed by lamb Youvetsi (Greek stew made with lamb and orzo). Baklava was lovely as dessert. Would
Beautiful food, incredible service, and elegant decor. Highly recommend the lamb shank with roasted potatoes or the fish stuffed with ricotta and spinach in some lemon sauce (or something). For dessert, get the Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts.
When I first walked in, I felt like I was stepping into a taverna in Greece. Service is gracious and attentive. The grilled octopus is incredibly tender. The bronzino fresh and tasty. Can't wait to try the other Greek specialties..
Great food, lovely service, and chill atmosphere. There was basically no one in the restaurant when we got here on a Saturday, so we had the waitstaff's full attention, which was really nice considering the size of our group. I ordered the Vegetarian Moussaka, which was delicious and quite filling
Has to be one of the best spots in the area. Incredible food, generous portions and great service in a charming space. The Octopus was seasoned to perfection and flavorful (It wasn't the most tender, but I didn't mind the meaty texture) and the calamari and zucchini chips were amazing. The Marouli s
Four of us ate an early dinner. We had a prix fixe menu, shared appetizers and each had our own entree. Very good food. Vegetarian and regular moussaka. Excellent service, tho I must admit we were about the only diners. Dessert was also very good. Rice pudding. Definitely recommend. Nice neighborhoo
My husband and I have had many truly delicious meals here. The decor is lovely, the menu extensive (and fabulous) and unlike so many Park Slope eateries it caters to adults - no kiddie menu, no cartoons on screens and no strollers. Just wonderful food, excellent service and a warm, welcoming environ
I had a surprisingly pleasant time here. My party was seated on the back deck. The place was packed to the gills at 6:30. The food ranges from good to great. The appetizer platter we got for the table was superb. Everybody cleaned their plates. Beer was terrible and service was extremely slow.
Good food, reasonably prices, nice location. Service was slightly weird but still fine. Waiter seemed to be trying to wait us out until we ordered desserts. He came over with a preprinted table tent advertising desserts. He walked away again. Third time we told him teally, no dessert he picked up
The atmosphere here is warm and inviting. The food is delicious, particularly the spanokopita. We primarily ordered appetizers to share across the table, and they made for an excellent meal.
