We’ve been to this robatayaki steakhouse a few times and always have good experience. Very decent food and attentive service. Hubby & I recently went for an early dinner couple weeks ago on a rainy Friday evening and luckily we were able to get a table without reservation. We start off with Uni & Wagyu Beef roll which was mouthwatering good. For main course we opted for the 30 day Jyukusei Porterhouse Steak for Two, it was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Along with a side of S+C Baked Potatoes made a great meal.

This is my favorite restaurant in NYC. Everything is spectacular. I have a feeling they are in for a Michelin star soon. One night a had 3 orders of the Boston scallop to my face. The Wagyu tasting platter is epic. Best crab cake I’ve ever had. Everything here is the best I’ve ever had when it comes to an all around proper Japanese restaurant. This restaurant is a gold mine of culinary pleasure and flavor.

Quaint experience with an intimate atmosphere that is great for date nights and group dinners. The food was great, but they are overpriced. The uni filet mignon was delicious, $200.

We had a big party of 7 people. Very good presentation. Great service. Tea tasted good and it was hot and served in a tea pot like a real tea. Everyone at the table loved the food. Everybody was saying it was delicious, but not me. I just personally don’t like steaks. And almost everything we ordered was grilled. And after every goodI tried a had a burned food aftertaste in my mouth. The affogato was amazing. I really like Japanese cuisine, but not this type.

We ordered the smoked duck main and the ny strip steak. They were both delicious, the duck it was outstanding! As well as the shishito peppers. We had crab cake as appetizer, it was delicious but a bit pricey for one piece. The flavors are balanced, well thought, the service was great and on point. Looking forward to go back soon!

Food was GOOD but a tad too EXPENSIVE. I liked the decor and ambience of it but the service could have been better.

This is a real steakhouse, the chef really cares about the cuts and the way the meat is being cooked. Everything else we ordered was amazing, from the broccoli to the sushi. Thank you so much.

This restaurant can probably be one of the best places in Brooklyn for Japanese cuisine. It's cozy and comfortable, they have few table down stairs. Started with some classic Sake and must say that Tokyo Wheat Beer is out of the world. Orderd Salmon and Shrimp rolls which very lip smacking. And the show stopper has to be their Wagyu Steak, a review may not do justice, so I'll leave it here.

This place is spectacular! The service is spectacular. The food is spectacular. The drinks are, well you get what I'm trying to say. This excellent Japanese restaurant is as great as I had been hearing. The entire staff was so friendly and attentive. All the little details were on point. The salmon roll was possibly the best sushi roll I have ever eaten period full stop. Then it just gets better from there! The Wagyu Truffle roll truly blew my mind. The steak and potatoes and broccoli were incredible and filling. It's nice to go to an expensive restaurant that actually fills you up! Definitely looking forward to coming back soon. Enjoy

For the price I expected much better …the atmosphere fantastic and the service was EXCELLENT. But to be honest Most dishes were under seasoned and for the price point I’m really shocked that I was so underwhelmed. When you order the cheese fries they come with ketchup…lame! So we asked for spicy mayonnaise and it was three dollars. I can’t believe they were even serving ketchup. The candy at the end was a nice touch.

I went here with a bunch of my family and friends and we Turned it into a family style sharing. We started with a bunch of appetizers the Fried Nasu & Maitake mushroom, tuna avocado roll, yellowtail roll and salmon roll. Then for dinner we put filet mignon, fresh smoked duck breast and Atlantic salmon with potatoes for everybody to share. The chef served the dishes in a different way than than typical Japanese style. They put salmon roe and wasabi mayo in the salmon roll. It gave it a taste that I never had before. The duck came out like a steak. It was Juicy tender meat. One dish was just as good as the next. It’s a small place and it sits on a corner in Williamsburg Brooklyn. nice outside spot, very cozy and the staff were super friendly. They have a private room in the downstairs that you sit inside a wine cellar room as well. They also specialize in A variety of wagu beef.

The food was good. I spent 470 dollars for two people and went for the uni mignon steak(the MP was 190 that day), the strip steak, and assorted sashimi of the day. The uni was fantastic. It had a sweet taste and a super soft texture. But the sashimi was frozen. So it was freezing when served to the table. So it is hard for us to taste the sashimi. I could taste the ice that infused the meat. But again, the uni was fantastic. Service is okay, but you can get better one in other expensive restaurants (Those Michelin restaurants). They should have cleaned the table on time. They only cleaned half of it and left the other half wet. And provided me with two knives and no fork for my steak. All in all, If you need a great uni or wagyu experience, come here!

Omg the wagyu sushi was amazing! Then we got the porterhouse steak and it was delicious. The lychee martini and shisu mojito are a must as well. Great service and experience overall. Will definitely keep coming back.

Great restaurant & bar. I enjoyed the wagyu appetizer, a sushi roll, the baked potato, and an espresso cocktail for dessert. (See photos.) Everything was excellent. The service was friendly and the bartender was a cool conversationalist. Highly recommended!

Have been wanting to try this place ever since seeing their uni filet mignon. This restaurant is worth the $$$. The service and food were all delicious. Every single thing we got was so good. My favorite two dishes were actually the sesame crusted salmon and the crab cakes. We also got the cheese fries which were a good side and the portions were quite large. The uni filet mignon was so yummy and the steak melted in your mouth. The salmon roe and seaweed sauce were so savory and complimented the steak well. It was definitely pricey ($192) but the portion size is large and you can definitely share it with another person.
