Le Petit from the street appears to be a cute average cafe, but once you go toward the back you enter a gorgeous magical, spiritual space full of greenery, natural light and statues. The wait was not too bad - the manager runs the restaurant like a ship! Our food was tasty, but nothing extraordinary. My poached eggs and potatoes were a little under cooked. While the food isn't half bad, You definitely dine here for the atmosphere, more so than just for the food.

Since I moved from Brooklyn to Manhattan I rarely go back, but I still have a few favorite restaurants there. There is one restaurant that I love for its incredible lattes called Le Petit Café that is located in the heart of Carroll Gardens. It was one of my favorite brunch places when I lived in Brooklyn.
This week Vital and I visited Le Petit restaurant after interviewing MBFW designer Cristina Ruales. Nothing changed since the last time I brunched here. The food is still delicious and coffee… I’m in love with Le Petit Cafe coffee!
This restaurant is famous not only among foodies but also among fashion people. Many photoshoots take place here not to mention crowds of bloggers instagramming delicacies from Le Petit (I’m among them too!).
We had little time to grab a bite and ordered one dish each. I ordered Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and Vital tried turkey bean soup. As expected, the food was delicious!

Lovely restaurant. Great atmosphere. Dinner menu is very nice, but about double the price of the lunch menu (different items). The only reason I mention this is because at the time of my writing this review, the prices on the front of this page said entrees under $10. They are really 14-30. But otherwise great food.

This is a tough one. The garden in the back is beautiful and really a must see In Carroll gardens, however the food was kinda blah. My french toast was soggy and almost unfinishable, brunt and slow to arrive. skip eating here just get coffee and unwind in the back.

Here's the thing about Le Petit.... The atmosphere in this restaurant is absolutely amazing. Beautiful, enclosed, year-round secret garden in the back, quaint bistro-in-Provence in the front. Here's the thing--the kitchen is not great. And the service is outright bad. Go to Le Petit. Get a coffee and a croissant. You'll love it.

The most beautiful cafe and garden restaurant. Although we didn’t get to dine since we were on a time crunch and they were preparing for dinner, we had a delightful interaction with the owner and bought the most amazing chocolate croissants and blueberry muffins. Spent a short while in the cafe and we absolutely loved it. Will definitely be going again.

This is a cute this spot with lots of outdoor seating and nice ambiance. We sat inside and it was a little warm, as if something was happening with the AC. The service and food were good, pretty standard to me. The latte was actually pretty tasty!

Accommodate all meal request: vegan, seafood and special dietary needs. Ambiance exceptional. Staff friendly and quick with service. Food on point. All the plates were cleaned. Great portions. We were full satisfied and had a great evening . Seating inside, outside and garden. A special event was in progress when we arrived. Waiter suggested order be placed before large patty's order began to inundate kitchen. Love the buttery and specially curated decor. Handicapped accessible. Great ambiance. And sis not mind that we were having fun. Many extensive and can serve all food palates.

Amazing hidden gem!! I never expected to walk to the back of such a cute cafe and see such a beautiful scene. Along with the beautiful decor, the service and food were good, passion fruit mimosas were excellent and my overall brunch experience was super enjoyable. I'll be going back when in NY again.

Beautiful whimsical spot that makes you forget you are in the city. The decor has gorgeous and has little eye catching owls everywhere. This is a cute date spot to get the conversation going with good food! I highly recommend there steak and eggs, steak over enchiladas and salmon Benedict! If you have room, definitely get the crème brûlée or lava cake! They were light, melt in your mouth desserts that just hit the spot!

This cafe has a very eclectic and charming garden in the back, which I found to be the best part of the experience. The food is pretty good, but it falls into the trap that so many restaurants fell into back in the day of having way too big of a menu for the size of their kitchen - everything is good, nothing is great. In general, the menu feels dated and could use a refresh.

Love this place. Feels like a sanctuary. Everything is crisp and pristine. The environment and ambiance engulfing and tantalizing. The food is superb and the service is paramount. Tommy the owner is family so I always manage to drop in when I visit from Orlando. It’s the most beautiful restaurant ever. If you ever have time in Brooklyn- drop in. You’re going to LOVE it

This was my first corn flake crusted chicken and waffles and wont be my last. Crazy flavorful. Atmosphere was so calming felt like I was eating brunch in a botanical garden. The cream of broccoli soup warmed my soul. Service was really friendly and food came out fast.

The food is amazing, but the real draw is the back atrium. It's like stepping into a hidden garden oasis that is unlike anything else in New York City. This is the perfect place to take a date if you want to impress them.

My husband and I were treated here for brunch. This restaurant is absolutely delightful. It made me feel like I was in Italy. A lovely place with a garden atmosphere and waterfalls. Very romantic. Nice place to propose to that special someone. I had the chicken and waffle combo on the suggestion of my Waiter. The chicken was coated with actual cornflakes. You get four very thick pieces of chicken breasts or it could have been chicken tenders in the manner of a elongated chicken finger. Not greasy at all but very tasty and crunchy accompanied by one large thick waffle. Definitely ordering that again. Husband ordered turkey wrap and French fries in which he enjoyed as well. Prices are very reasonable Restaurant has an A rating listed on window. Definitely not understated. An 'A' in my book as well. Very clean and the service was excellent. Located at 502 Court St. Bklyn NY Updated Also have a small event room that seats 35. 3 hrs event time. 2 Fixed prices of your choice. 1st Price includes Unlimited coffee, soda, tea. 2nd Price includes the above along Unlimited Wine & Beer along with 5 choices from menu. ask for Mgr. Tommy - Very Professional and Courteous Tell him Rosemarie referred you.

One of my favourite places in Brooklyn. Fantastic food and always amazing services. If you’re in the area, or even not, it’s worth the trip!

I love the French look. The lowly lit candles on every table and the constant sound of rushing Waters in the internal rooms, definitely adds to the home-style feel of this cafe. Good coffee, decent prices. The only thing I wish was better is their cookies. A bit too hard for my liking but, that's a personal opinion. Would definitely visit again.

As an eggs Florentine connoisseur i am writing this review to say I’ve just had the best one of my life! I’ve had them all over the world, many in this neighborhood and many times here before. And I’ve never been disappointed here but for some reason this one was firing on all cylinders. Every single element was cooked to perfection rendering every bite a perfect taste and texture explosion down to the last drop! I did add salt and freshly squeezed lemon juice but it was cooked perfectly!
