At first when Lovejoys opened it was my go-to spot for after work decompression. They have the cutest little outdoor area in the back. However once it started becoming more of a party destination, I backed away a bit. The customer base has gotten a bit sloppy and rude.

I descended on this spot with 30 - 40 friends for my birthday and the team at Lovejoys couldn’t have been lovelier. The space is gorgeous - upscale but whimsical - and cocktails were divine. They saved a spot for us in the back and we made use of the backyard as well. Can’t wait to go back.

Lovejoys is definitely the next up and coming bar of Bushwick! The atmosphere is not only chic, but also whimsical, welcoming and filled with positive energy. You can come here for a cocktail, or three, or with a group of friends and it's bound to fit the bill for what you want out of a night out.
